As the sun shone its last rays of light, the forest quietened, and the animals closed their lids for the day. Thing seemed different in the nymph tribe, as an unusual event seemed to be happening at that moment. Way past their time of sleep, the tribeswomen all seemed to be awake. The stress accumulated from the last dark season was slowly being chipped away by the sound of drums to the ears and the sight of dancing to the eyes.
Both young and old, the tribeswomen gathered near the tree of life with the sole purpose of celebrating. However, these tribal women had yet to know what it is they were truly celebrating. Till then it had been a complete secret, at least for most of the tribeswomen. As for those who already knew of the dire situation hanging over the tribe's future, some had already guessed or inquired from those who knew.
