"What is that supposed to mean?" Mo Li asked in a raging voice which only caused Master Gao's lips to turn in a mocking sneer. He snorted and said, "Do I need to spell it out? You knew that no one would willingly give birth to the child of this daughter of yours, so instead of accepting the truth, you actually used such a despicable tactic!" 

"You—"

"Chief Zhao, can I take my daughter away now?" Mo Yan asked in a stoic voice. She had zero interest in how the old Mo family was going to compensate Master Gao and his son, for what they had done even if handing all their wealth was not enough. 

"Yes you can, Madam Yan," Chief Zhao nodded. Under normal circumstances, she would have asked Mo Yan to pay the compensation but after seeing the shameless antics of the Mo family, Chief Zhao sympathized with Mo Yan.
