Humming to herself, Chi Lian entered the house with a smile and a good mood. The tranquility in her heart was massive. Jubilantly, she walked past her grimacing older brother Chi Wei and went to her room. She had already been informed that Mei-Mei and her parents were sleeping.

"She came up with the concept." His wife informed him. "Why are you pretending that you don't know how such things work?"

Grandma Jun looked at her son dismissively and turned to her daughter-in-law, "Next time you are watching, call me as well and we watch it together."

Chairman Jun snorted and left the living room. Just wait when that DNA report proves them all wrong, then they would see his point.

"But if she stays out that late with Muyang, who stays at home to take care of Mei-Mei?" the old lady appeared to be overly worried.

"I think she has a nanny." Her daughter-in-law said after thinking for a while.

The old lady was not too pleased to hear this. Her only beloved grandchild had more than enough family to look after her. Why was she in the left in the care of a nanny all day long?

"If only she lived with us, we would take care of her properly." The old lady said with a pitiful sigh and she took out her phone to look at pictures of Mei-Mei.

"I blame that unfilial grandson of ours. How can he not bring the child over even once? Who raised him to be that way?"

His daughter-in-law looked away and coughed. Had her father-in-law forgotten that they all played a role in raising him?
