CHAPTER 3 _ HIS NAME IS LUCIAN

" Does it bother you? His eyes, do they bother you? " Liz asked her.

" Well.. a little, I don't care what his eyes are. Am only afraid they might affect him in a bad way " Anna answered, still staring helplessly at his son.

" Anna? he has us. We will love and train him into a good man. That is all that matters." Liz assured her.

" Yes..yes we will, thanks Liz," Anna said looking gratefully at Liz. Ever since she escaped from the clutches of her family. Liz has been her only family since, looking after her without bothering to know who she was. She felt like she owed her a lot.

" Have you thought of a name?"

Liz smiled and asked. She had been alone for many years, but meeting Anna changed everything. She had already regarded her as her daughter, so she had accepted her son as her grandson already.

" Lucian! His eyes are filled with unspeakable light, we'll call him Lucian" Anna answered.

Little Lucian's eyes lit up, there was a sudden spark of light in them as he giggle as if to approve of his name.

Liz and Anna were shocked but then they burst into laughter. " Looks like our little angel loves his name"

Liz said still laughing. " Feed him. He might be a strange one, but he still needs to eat. I'll go prepare something for you too."

Anna nodded and started breastfeeding him.

...

It has already been 10 years since Lucian was born, a boy was crouching beside what looked like four small irregular-shaped pens but close to a square shape. The boy looked not less than 10 but a little taller. When you look at his height, he should be close to around 12 to 13 years old but in actuality, he was just 10. Even though he looked like a local boy, his facial appearance was comparable to a heavenly prince or probably more than that.

He had jet black hair, a little below his shoulders.

They radiated a sparkle of golden light under the sun, and from one look, you could tell he wasn't ordinary. He had perfectly clean fair skin that made him look like he was born and bred in a castle, but his outfit gave him out.

He wore hand-sewn long pants and a faded long-sleeve shirt, which looked like it had been worn so many times but looked very neat. His clean fair hands held unto one pair of the tentacle of a snail, causing the snail to suspend helplessly in midair.

"Lucian! Lucian !.." came a gentle voice from the cottage. Lucian lifted his head knowing who that voice belonged to. He smiled helplessly, he was in trouble again.
