"Mmm," Miya murmured softly, acknowledging Samiel's invitation. She took a seat beside the window, her gaze still lingering on him. There was something about his presence that made her feel oddly comforted, as if she had known him for much longer than she could remember.

As she began to eat the meal Samiel had brought, Miya's mind buzzed with questions. She wanted to ask if he had been there when she bumped into Aiden, but the words stuck in her throat. Instead, she focused on her food, letting the warmth of the meal soothe her nerves.

Samiel, noticing her silence, decided to break it gently. "Miya, I'm sure you're wondering why you're here. So, let me explain."
