The next day, the men talked about what they did in Loxley's group. They expected Itzy to praise and be pleased with them, but that didn't happen. Itzy just shrugged her shoulders and kept a straight face throughout their storytelling, showing no signs of joy or appreciation as they spoke, until it was over.

"Is that it? She didn't even commend us for what we did," Linus said, his shoulders slumped. They were in the garden while Itzy was already in her room.

"What else did you expect?" Ryker said, unenthusiastically. "I can now understand how Jace always feels."

"Don't be sad, guys. The good thing is, we did our job," Laszlo said, trying to boost the spirits of his companions, even though he was hurt too.

"What about you, Jace? Don't you have anything to say?" Linus asked, turning to Jace, who remained quiet and motionless.

He shrugged. "What can we do? That's her."

Ryker scratched his head and said, "It's really hard to understand Ma'am."
