Hengshan could tell just from Ling'er's expression what her answer was going to be, and he was not disappointed.

"... " Hengshan remained silent for some time before finally nodding. "Then let's follow what you have in mind, Benefactor Yun."

He would not have let Yun Che kill him. He was ready to speak on their behalf, but it seems like it's not needed anymore.

He killed a Sky Profound Realm cultivator without making a move, so if they had really thought they could just run away from him, he could only blame their stupidity. 'Now only Su Haoran and Su Haoyu are left to deal with. Even though they both are eunuchs now, they still were the main figures of the coup, so they both must be dealt with too.'

His glowing pupils once again moved towards the map, this time locating the position of Su Haoran and Su Haoyu within the Grandwake Clan. Seeing them lying unconscious on their beds through clairvoyance, Yun Che internally muttered.

"That's good then." Su Hengshan's voice brought him out of his mind, and he looked towards him. "Then you and your wife should go and rest. Ling'er, guide them to the guest room and ask the maids to serve them food. After I clean this mess, I will come and visit you tomorrow."

Yun Che nodded his head before leaving with Qingyue, following the happily chirping Su Ling'er.

The remaining time passed relatively fast within the Grandwake Clan. With all the people that opposed and were against Su Hengshan no longer alive, controlling and taking over the full control of the clan was just a matter of time.

The disappearance of Su Haoran and Su Haoyu indeed caused some panic, but it soon died down. Though no one knew where the two had vanished, they all thought that after what had happened to them, they were too embarrassed to face anyone and silently left the clan during the chaos last night.

Yun Che also spent his "last day" on Azure Continent with Su Ling'er like the original. Though unlike before, now he had space manipulation, and he could come to meet her anytime he wanted.

So separation was only for some days or weeks, depending on how things would go within the Blue Wind Empire.

Before leaving, Yun Che made sure to give Su Ling'er some life-saving skills; not only would all these skills increase her potential to that of a monster level, but they would also protect her in case of an emergency.

And with telepathy, he could teleport to her at a moment's notice if she is ever in danger.

"Well then, take care, okay?" With a gentle smile on his face, Yun Che calmly replied to Su Ling'er, who had tears gathered within her big eyes.

She stared at Yun Che pleadingly and asked: "Can Ling'er not go with Big Brother Yun Che? Ling'er wants to spend more time with Big Brother!"

"Silly girl…" Yun Che gently rubbed her head and replied. "Big Brother is not leaving Ling'er… Did I not say? I will come and visit you soon. I am not going to vanish or something."

He paused for a second before continuing.

"Just… I have some stuff to deal with at home. Once I am done with it, I will come back to take Ling'er with me. So just wait, okay?"

"... Mn!" Su Ling'er tightly gripped the hem of her skirt and strongly nodded. She had her jaws clenched to make sure she didn't break into loud cries.

Yun Che could not help but smile helplessly seeing this. He raised his head and looked at Su Hengshan before nodding.

"Father-in-law, please take care of yourself and the clan. I have given Ling'er some gifts that should help increase her potential to that of a prodigy. While I am away, I want you to focus the clan's resources on her. I am sure you would not be disappointed by it."

"Don't worry. Leave everything here to me," Su Hengshan strongly replied. "I will protect Ling'er with my life!"

"Then I can leave with peace."

He gave Ling'er a lost look before looking towards the silent Qingyue and softly said, "Wife, let's go. It's time."

Qingyue replied with a nod before both of them turned around and left.

Time passed, and Ling'er still stood in her place, staring in the direction where Yun Che had left, dazed.

Seeing his daughter like this, Su Hengshan could only sigh. He did not understand why his daughter liked Yun Che so much to the point where she looked as if she had lost her purpose to live after his departure, but he could only support her and make sure she had the best.

"Ling'er, let's go. You don't want to disappoint Yun Che when he comes back, right?"

Light seemed to return to Ling'er's big eyes before she heavily nodded.

"Mn! Ling'er will train her best to make Big Brother Yun Che proud!"
