Ch. 27 Part 1

More than twenty carriages packed in front of Lin Yu'an's newly built house. The villagers watched with red eyes as boxes big and small were taken out of the carriages and sent into the house. Looking curiously and guarded at the foreigners and men with vicious looking faces, the villagers dared not get too close to them and stayed far at a safe distance. They could only watch with green and twisted stomachs and envy and feel jealous of Lin Yu'an's family.
