"In case a cheating is suspected, all cards will be collected and shuffled. A new game of Blackjack will be started between the two remaining players," the NPC said coldly, its fingers itching to snatch the cards back when Thanh Van rested his delicate fingers over his cards, protecting his winning hand.
"Now, that doesn't really solve the problem, does it?"
Both Jan and Vladislav were watching the two men duel with their eyes alone, curious and partly thankful that their punishments were prolonged for a few precious minutes more.
The NPC had frozen at Thanh Van's words, its gloved hand twitching in rage, voice barely level. "Mr Ruan, I'm sorry, but I don't understand."
"Well, I think it is quite rational if you really thought about it, dealer." Thanh Van felt the chill seep into his bone marrow, the ice climbing along his spine from the harrowing killing intent that hovered over him like a storm cloud.
