"Classic," Allen muttered, shaking his head in disbelief. "I can't believe people fall for something as simple as that." He leaned back, stretching his legs out in front of him as if the act could somehow loosen the frustration. "It's always the same with her. Spin a story, make herself the center of attention, and everyone just eats it up."

Gerry, sitting beside him, crossed his arms and frowned thoughtfully. "We need to change that," he said, as if it was something that could be fixed as easily as tweaking a game strategy. "But how?"

Then, as if struck by a sudden epiphany, Gerry snapped his fingers and grinned. "Oh, right! Sophia's the one who's still single, right? We could point that out. She's projecting or something. Flip the script on her."
