Mercantilism: the precursor to capitalism, and inevitably, late-stage corporatism. While not inherently evil like some would like to believe with guns and violent video games, it still ushered in an era of constant inequality and nonstop crimes against humanity. Don't get me wrong. I still likened myself to a fledgling business owner even back in the old world, but I just didn't get why those corporate fvcks weren't satisfied with their billion-dollar salaries when the common man barely lived with fifteen bucks an hour. Granted, I was kind of well off with how frugal I can be, but I still had experience with living on minimum wage during my post-drop-out days.
