Stirred awake by the familiar mewling and the faint sensation of something tiny and wet nudging her face, Liliana slowly lifted her eyelids. The culprit's face was reflected in her eyes.

Liliana was sleeping on Lucas' bed when Honeypuff hopped on the mattress and tried to wake her up. She could perfectly see the tabby despite the room being dimmed by lights.

Chuckling, Liliana asked the fluffy ball of fur, her voice slightly hoarsed, "Honeypuff... Are you here to wake me up?"

"Meow~"

Nudging her nose on Liliana's face, Honeypuff curled in a space next to the pillow. Flicking her fluffy tail, she seemed contented after waking up the lady.

Liliana smiled in helplessness. Rubbing her eyes, she propped herself up. The other side of the mattress was empty. The lack of warmth signaled Lucas had been away for quite some time.
