Nian Yuyu had just woken up from an afternoon nap when she received an unexpected call from Chu You, considering he had left her place less than an hour ago.

Hearing his low and magnetic voice, she felt the side of her scalp closest to the phone tingle.

She even got lost in thought, imagining if Chu You were ever to lose his job, he could become a voice actor or a late-night radio host, surely he would be extremely popular.

"Yuyu," Chu You called her once more.

"Hmm?" Nian Yuyu's cheeks warmed up, which she blamed on just having woken up.

"Does your back still hurt?"

Upon hearing his question, the memory of him massaging her back at noon surfaced in Nian Yuyu's mind. She hesitated, unsure whether he was genuinely concerned or teasing her again.

So she gave a noncommittal mutter.

In the empty office, Chu You, hearing her vague response, curled his lips into a pleased smile.
