A day out?

"Veronica..." William called out as he saw Veronica entering the room. Roselyn jumped from the bed upon seeing her mother and ran in her direction.

Veronica smiled gently as she took Roselyn in her arms and kissed her on the forehead. She knew that Roselyn was worried about her after what happened last night,at first it was small ruckus but second time when those guys returns she came to Veronica and told her shut the door inside and no matter what happened she will not opened the door unless she heard Veronica's voice, she had told her to stay inside her room before she went out to see William but alas at that time she has no other choice but to do that, she didn't want her daughter to witness those unpleasant things which took place last night and apart from that she wanted to make sure of her safety, and at the same time she is also worried about William,Knowing that he was facing those people for their sake.

"Mother, don't do that again, don't leave me alone. I was worried about you the whole time and ended up falling asleep like that," Roselyn said in a cute voice as she complained to Veronica for shutting her inside the room like that.This is not the first time when she shut her inside the room, every single time when those people showed themselves,Veronica shut Roselyn inside her room for her safety and at the same time Roselyn kind of understand her mother's intention that she just want her to be safe but it was too much for a child and Veronica is also knows that.

"I am sorry for making you so worried, sweetie. I didn't have any other choice but to leave you inside your room. You know I just wanted to keep you safe. I did what I did for the sake of my cute little doll," Veronica responded to Roselyn as she approached her bed, where William was calmly sitting and listening to the mother and daughter talk. Inwardly, he was furious after knowing that she went through such an unpleasant experience in an early age. This was all related to that Nolan guy, who wanted to kick these two off their own property.

"I understand..." Roselyn shrugged in response to her mother's explanation. Upon seeing her daughter like that, Veronica chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"I promise, I will never do that again," She told Rosalyn,a bright smile appeared on Roselyn's face her face when she heard her mother's promise. The next moment, she jumped on the bed and grabbed William's right hand.

"You are going outside, right? Can I come with you? I also want to see the city…" She asked and looked at William with puppy eyes. William was taken aback by Roselyn's sudden request. Veronica's face also turned pale upon hearing Roselyn and she looked at William in surprised manner. She didn't know that William wanted to go out to take a look around the city. William also noticed the troubled expression on Veronica's face, but he didn't ask her; he knew the reason behind it.

"You want to see the city?" He asked.

"Yes, I do," She looked at William and replied with a different glint in her eyes. She was excited about going out.

"William, are you sure you want to take her outside? You don't have to, the city is not a safe place and it's crowded at this time. I don't think it's a good idea to take her with you," Veronica asked this because she was concerned about Roselyn's safety, especially as she remembered the last night's events. At the same time, she knew that she didn't have to worry about it because William is going to accompany her, especially after knowing his real identity. William chuckled when he saw Veronica's concern.

"You don't have to worry about anything, Veronica, and who said I am going to take her out alone? You are also coming with me. I know nothing about this place, I want you to show me around. I can go alone as well but it will be boring on my own. Moreover, I don't feel like leaving you alone here at this place," William asked her back and caught her by surprise. Her face turned slightly red upon hearing William's request.

"You want me to accompany you?" she asked as an embarrassed look appeared on her face,she couldn't believe that he wanted to go out with her. Solana city was a small place and almost everyone knew each other. Thinking about walking beside him along with her child made her heart bounce in excitement.

"Yes, I want you to accompany me if that is okay with you. Moreover, Roselyn will be happy too if you come with us," William answered casually while winking at Roselyn.

"Yes mother, let's go. Going out with William will be fun. I want to see the morning market of the city," Roselyn insisted as she pleadingly looked at her mother. Veronica pondered for a while, and then she nodded her head while taking a deep breath. In the end, she decided to tag along with William. Most importantly, it was because she had different plans.

"Well, if you are okay with it, then I don't have any problem showing you around the city. Moreover, I needed some stuff as well," She said putting a bright smile on her face.

"Well then it's decided, we are going out together," He declared as he petted Roselyn's head and looked at Veronica.

"Wait, first let me make breakfast for us before we leave for the main city," She told William and then continued while looking at Roselyn, "Roselyn, go wash your face and come downstairs," Roselyn excitedly nodded her head at her mother's instruction and jumped of the bed before leaving the room in hurry.

"I'll come with you and help you out," William smiled as he looked her after Roselyn left the room.

"You are going to help me?" Veronica asked as her heart slightly thumped.

"Yes, don't underestimate me, I know lots of things," He whispered in Veronica's ears, and with those words, he left the room leaving her in a daze.
