Gwen Pendragon was not a particularly good king, but as long as he did not intend to cause any problems, that was already the best thing.

The Dukes of the Round Table were all aware that this king had no love for his people or anything else. Only because he was recognized by the holy sword and descended from the true Pendragon was he granted the king's throne.

Some may have been skeptical, but they would never be able to depose the true king from the throne.

It was partly due to the holy sword Excalibur, but the most important factor was Duke Lancelot's unwavering support for King Gwen. Duke Lancelot would completely manage everything that the king should do.

They never questioned Hareve's abilities, only his loyalty. Some dukes questioned Hareve about whether King Gwen was truly worthy.

Hareve's only response throughout his entire life had been, "He is worthy."
