/"Not really mom, we are just tired,/" Sapphire answered.

/"I know, that was why I asked, hard day?/" she replied.

/"No mom,/" Sapphire shook her head, /"we have been in school all day, you forgot to pick us from school./"

Sasha furrowed her brows slightly, not quite catching up. /"What are you saying silly,/" she chuckled, /"you dad told me he would pick you up./"

/"Kids go freshen up,/" Michael said and they nodded and went inside.

Sasha turned to him, /"what are they saying; you didn’t reach them on time?/"

/"No, but I would have if someone had told me to pick them up,/" Michael answered.

/"What are you talking about?/"

Michael exhaled and pinched the bridge of his nose, /"I am not in the mood for this, Sasha,/" he walked past her into the house.

Sasha frowned and followed him, /"what do you mean? I’m confused right here, Michael you have to speak up./"

/"Where were you today?/" he asked then.
