Everyone in Airon's group has learned how to survive, they are all strong warriors and always keep their feet on the ground while trying to save those who can still be saved.
Daryl may be selfless on the outside, but he slowly turned off to that way of life and also understood that not everyone can be bad. This lifestyle led everyone unwittingly to a goal, a goal that goes beyond just surviving, everyone wants to take back the world they lost.
Everyone has a home, food and a source of drinking water, but what else can they do in a place that keeps them safe? It is for that reason that eighty percent of the S.C.T. community knows how to use a weapon, and they chose to become warriors.
Who can guess that they are a strong and safe community? Many may think they are invincible, but then a situation brings them back down to earth. No matter what their choice is, they understand that sooner or later they will have to fight and it is best to be prepared. There are bad people out there, and walkers may not be the scariest thing to encounter in this world today.
When Airon and the others were trying to save lives, Ezekiel was leading a group of people in the direction Jesus pointed. When he learned that these Hilltop people were in the same direction that Airon went, he talked to Jesus about this group apparently wanting to protect them.
And when he learned that they had practically given away a large amount of supplies, he was both surprised and delighted. Are they really some transformed branch of the government? What is really the purpose of this strange community? Can they be trusted? The joy came from the fact that apparently that community has all kinds of supplies, including medicine that it now urgently needs.
After a simple exchange between the two, he felt a bit relieved, at least judging by the other party's current performance, they did not seem like a community that lied and they knew much more than anyone else about the situation in the world.
Since there was a chance of meeting that group, he knew it was better to speed up in order to exchange something of value, so right now a six-person van was rapidly approaching where Airon's group had gone.
Thanks to the fact that they didn't have to make many turns on the road, Ezekiel and the others quickly saw that they seemed to see several cars parked on the side of a road up ahead, while Jesus watched and quickly recognized the place.
"This is the hospital where we're looking for medicine! Are you sure Airon isn't a bad person, why did he stop here?"
Jesus looked doubtful at the cars in the distance that were only two trucks, the people in their group were only three and if these people were not what they appeared to be, their group would not have a chance of survival.
"No, I knew him well and he showed me many things that there was no need for his to share, do you need help with this?"
Ezekiel hesitated for a moment, hearing Jesus' question he couldn't help but think to himself if it was really safe to go, what if right now only those people gained the trust of the Kingdom with ulterior motives? At this moment, even he began to feel insecure.
"Richard, stop in front, let's walk so as not to attract the attention of the walkers!"
Ezekiel warned Richard as he tapped his shoulder, and the car quickly pulled to the side of the road. Within minutes, a group of six people ran to the modified RV and discovered that it was moving strangely and the center portion began to expand to both sides.
Suddenly, the hospital door burst open. A man with slightly messy hair came running out with an unconscious person in his arms followed by three more people from behind.
Jesus, who had a sharp eye, could see that two of the men in the group were his companions, Doctor Carson and Eduardo, but immediately he saw another group of strangers come out from behind them and they were pointing guns at him.
"You call that a community for the future of mankind?" Jesus looked at Ezekiel with a serious expression.
Jerry, standing to the side, immediately rebutted as he looked at Jesus, "Pay attention to the volume of your tone, who do you think you are talking to?"
Ezekiel waved his hand and disregarded this behavior. "I can't say something about what we are seeing, these people were not threatening at all when they offered us resources, maybe you people attacked them?"
"That's impossible! Carson is a very friendly person. He would never come into conflict with other people, let alone in this unfavorable situation. Quite possibly those people who saved you were greedy with the medicines and stole from my people. No, I have to save them myself."
Jesus ignored the dissuasion of Ezekiel and the others, walked directly into the bushes beside him and was gone in the blink of an eye.
Ezekiel gritted his teeth, he really didn't want to be an enemy of this very prepared group, but he couldn't help but act when he is seeing the real situation in front of him, so he said, "Richard, Jerry, go to the other side, the others follow me in this place and if things get ugly we will have to try to save Jesus."
Richard and Jerry looked at each other, without saying a word, they turned and walked to the other side of the convoy, watching them leave, Ezekiel sighed softly.
"Hey, I hope it's not what I imagined."
Unbeknownst to Ezekiel's group, a telescopic sight was watching them from the roof of a not-so-tall building. This was the group that Ezekiel and his people hadn't seen of the Airon group, who were being trained and going out on explorations.
Airon and the others were also oblivious to what was happening next to them, and the scene had already become a bit chaotic because of the situation.
Harlan Carson was a doctor at Hilltop. Before the end of the world, he was an obstetrician and gynecologist, and had experience. Edward, who was with him, was one of the few fighters at Hilltop.
Originally, they were very happy to see a group of people coming to save their people, but the other side kept pointing guns at them and the atmosphere on both sides became a little tense. As the two walked towards the hospital door, they were met by another man, carrying his partner Wesley on his shoulders.
What horrified them was that Wesley's wrist was missing and blood was dripping from what was an amputation.
Airon carried the man straight into the trailer, put him on the couch next to him and shouted behind him, "Bob, get ready for surgery!"
At that moment, Dr. Carson and Eduardo were surrounded by Glenn and others at the roadside not far from the modified RV. Carson looked anxiously in the direction of the RV and explained somewhat helplessly, "Everyone, we have no malicious intentions, we just came here to find some urgently needed medication in our shelter!"
Although Tyreese also pointed a gun at the two of them, he still explained to the other party, "It's okay, don't worry, your partner was bitten by a walker and our people are healing him, you just have to wait quietly."
Hearing the word surgery, Carson's eyes went wide and he asked, "Do you have a doctor on the team, I'm a doctor and I can help!".
Seeing that the other party didn't seem to be lying, Glenn slowly lowered the gun in his hand and said to Carson, "Don't worry, we have a military doctor in our group. Now, we'll lower the gun, we just ask them not to move."
Carson and the two nodded, sat obediently on the ground and waited in silence.
Airon got out of the car after leaving that man in Bob and George's care, walked over to Glenn and the others, explained a few words quietly and then looked at the two sitting on the ground.
Carson immediately recognized that this person was the one who brought Wesley to the car and couldn't help but ask, "Hi, how's our partner? I'm also a doctor and can help if needed."
Airon recognized this person. This is the doctor named Carson from Hilltop. That is, one of the ones who saved Hilltop. This is a good thing, but Bob should be able to do it himself. "You have nothing to worry about, our doctor will be able to cure your friend."
"We heard them screaming, then we saw an abnormal amount of walkers near this hospital who are now being wiped out by my people. We are good people, sort of..."
Just as Airon walked to the door of the RV to see if Bob didn't need help, a man with long hair covering his face suddenly jumped out from the side of the RV. The man opened his hand and grabbed him by the neck. Airon unconsciously dodged and moved backwards.
With arms hugging his chest, Airon knew the other party was trying to knock him down. His elbow struck backward, the effective blow slightly loosening the enemy's grip. These seconds of leverage were enough for Airon to break free, but the other party threw a forward kick that was dodged.
Airon approached this figure that he couldn't even recognize with the naked eye, so he held the foot that was again heading towards his neck and struck downward, knocking the opponent down.
Airon continued to press the opponent to the ground with all his strength, then quickly placed a knife into the enemy's lung.
The confrontation between the two went in a flash, and by the time Glenn and the others realized it, Airon had already controlled the opponent.
Glenn and the others wanted to raise their weapons, but they heard a warning voice behind them, "Don't move!"
