Sneaking Out The Back Door

Kujaku grinned at her question, waving her hands mysteriously.

"Magic," she replied.

Kary frowned.

"That's your answer? Magic? We can almost all use that here. Care to elaborate?" she asked.

"I don't intend to, no. You'll see once we get there. In the meantime, gather whatever you need for your business, as we won't be doing two trips. I have to go get my men ready and make sure everything is ready to proceed," Kujaku said, rising from her seat.

Kary raised her hand to stop her, but the woman was already walking away.

'Fucking ninja…'

Alex shrugged, as he didn't care how it was done as long as it worked.

"You heard the lady. Everyone pack your shit," he commanded, getting up as well.

It took a second for the others to snap out of their daze, as the plan seemed so stupidly simple it made no sense that it could work. But they obeyed Alex's command, heading to the cargo hold to grab their things.
