Hugged and Watched

Paul looked at the man and then pointed his hand at Arthur.

"This young man bought the vineyard, now he wants to pay off its debt to us," Paul replied.

What he said instantly froze the faces of all the villagers, leaving not a single voice to be heard.

They were shocked to the point that their eyes went blank.

Although in terms of appearance Arthur and the other two were indeed very conspicuous, but the vineyard was worth hundreds of millions of Euros, even billionaires would not necessarily buy it unless they were in a certain mood.

Would the young man really buy it?

Where did he get that much money from?

From his parents?

Question after question filled the villagers' heads.

"Paul, can you repeat yourself?" asked a middle-aged woman who was a bit chubby but looked like she still wanted to look pretty.

Paul shook his head, knowing that the middle-aged woman wasn't really not listening, she just wanted to hear it again.

"I'm telling the truth," he said.
