A few moments later, Evelyn exited the room and sighed.
Coincidentally, Oliver had just stepped out of the nearby room and saw her stepping out of the room. His eyes went wide suddenly and he walked to Evelyn as fast as he could with his sticks.
"Evelyn, why did you go there? Are you alright? Did he say something to you? Don't mind him. My brother is sometimes harsh."
Evelyn frowned and looked at Oliver.
It was true that his younger brother was harsh. But then she suddenly smiled widely and showed him the plate and said
"See! He already had his lunch. You can also have yours now."
Oliver was in a daze when he looked at her smile and then at the half-filled plate.
A moment later, he suddenly whispered
"How did you do it?"
With his brother's temper, it was almost impossible to make him something to do for which he was unwilling.
He was not like this before. It was their mother's behavior after Oliver's accident that had made him like this.
