"The earlier you promise, the faster you'll get to meet him. You're the one stalling it," I tell Kitai, who is very unhappy with me at the moment.
"Fine, no touching, no declaring serious words, and no embarrassing you," he bites out grudgingly.
"Was that so hard?" I tease, thoroughly enjoying his annoyance.
"You're just so selfish. He's my mate too, you know. And it's so unfair because between the two of us you're the one who claims not to want him. I've always wanted him!"
Maybe he is right and I was being selfish, but I am not going to relent, at least not now.
"Do you want to meet Storm or would you rather keep nagging like an old geezer?"
I feel his indignation before I'm suddenly pushed to the background and he takes control of my body. I regret allowing this interaction almost immediately when I hear him address Storm.
"Hello, Storm." The voice is deep and sensual, and I see Storm's eyes widen in delight when he realizes it is Kitai facing him now.
