You hurt me

"Nessy! Nessy! Wait! " Geb cried to Nessy, but she didn't seem to listen as she just walked out of her office into the restroom and closing the door behind her.

He understood very well that she was pained and jealous, even without reading her mind. But for some reason, he felt glad. Glad that his consort was jealous about the fact that another woman was throwing herself at him. He felt very happy and convinced that she really loves him, but this wasn't the time to celebrate, he still needed to handle Nut if he wanted to swim in the ocean of his consort's love.

"Nut, l am not in the mood for this, please just go and get back our time, before you will make matters worse for me". Geb said as he looked at Nut frustrated.

"How can you ask me to go, Geb its me your Nut, your love your goddess of sky and beauty. What happened to us? Why are you giving me this attitude " Nut said within tears. She couldn't believe that her Geb couldn't recognize her anymore or maybe didn't want her again. No, that can't be. She couldn't let Geb forsake and reject her like that. He was hers and hers for ever.

"Geb, look at me its Nut, your Nut please don't do this to me, what has come over you? " Nut was now shaking Geb profusely with desperate eyes.

"Leave me alone Nut " Geb said with fury as he threw her hands of him "you are not and will never be mine. You are the reason why l am no longer in my abode now back in our time and enjoying the worship or mortals. You are the reason why father used the ancient hourglass to spellbound me to the time, this present Egypt, the 21st century. I lost my glory as a god, all because of your stupid love" he fired at her as he was pained by the fact that he lost all that, due to his lust for Nut. He now saw the wrong in their actions and regretted all of it.

Nut couldn't believe her ears. Geb was really blaming her for everything that happened to him. Is he aware of all the sacrifices she too made for the sake of their love, and most all she had to bow down to a demon no the demon god, just to be reunited with him again and all she gets is to carry all the blame for their actions.

Immediately, she felt herself loose control as she felt her power and will, take over her whole being. Her eyes and hair turned white as she began to transform into her god form.

'Nooo dammit! What are you doing Nut? Control yourself ' Aposis/Morsi cursed within him as he saw Nut loose herself and he really didn't want that because he would have to do something, which would make Geb find out that he was really Aposis and then get prepared for him.

Geb too was terrified. He knew Nut won't hurt him , but she would definitely hurt or even worse, kill everyone in the building. He thought very fast, and just as he was about to hug her and teleport her out of the company, he head began to spin, and he felt dizzy. He tried to withstand the darkness, but it overwhelmed him and he fell on the floor unconscious.

*ln the restroom*

Nessy just rushed to the sink immediately she came into the restroom. She had heard Geb calling after, but could answer him as her emotions would not let her. She opened the tap and sprinkled some water on her face. She was trying to stop crying, but she couldn't. She couldn't understand why it hurt so much another woman touching Geb and calling him hers. She felt her heart hurt. Just when she thought she had finally found the one for her, some she can call hers and hers alone.

She finished washing her face and stared at her reflection. Her eyes were already red from her cries, and as if she hadn't had enough she recalled Nut's lips locked in Geb's as a painful memory as she started crying again, this time uncontrollably. She leaned on wall as she let herself slip to the floor as she sat on it not minding if it was dirty. She drew her knees to her chest as she hugged herself tightly, as she cried her eyes out.

This was all new to her, she had never fallen for anyone before, neither had she agreed to her feelings for some one. "Oh my goodness, this hurts soo bad" she kept crying as she spoke to herself.

She was still battling with her emotions, when she heard some loud noise from her office. She wondered what it might be. She paid attention and heard some rumbling sounds, the whole floor was shaking. 'Whats going on? Is this an earthquake or what ' Nessy thought in fear as she held onto the sink, so as not to fall.

Suddenly, the whole rumbling stopped. Just as if magic spells were cast. She wondered what might have happened, as she rushed out of the restroom, to meet an unconscious Geb lying on the floor. Fear griped her immediately.

"Geb! Geb! wake up" she screamed as she shook him profusely with fear in her eyes. "Geb wake up please Geb don't die on me! " she kept yelling.

Just in time, her secretary rushed inside her office "maam we heard noises from your office, is everything ok? ". She asked in worry.

"No Haggai " Nessy replied " everything is not ok. Call for an ambulance immediately don't you see that someone is dying and you still have the guts to ask me if all is fine! " she fired at her in frustration.

Haggai rushed to her desk immediately to carry out the order as she left Geb alone with Nessy.

"Geb please don't do this to me, Geb please wake and tell me what happened" she cried.

"Maam, l have called an ambulance and they would soon be here" Haggai said in a comforting tone as she walked out of her office, knowing fully well that her services won't be needed again till she was called upon.

Nessy still held Geb firmly in her arms as she shook him hard to wake him up. She was still shaking him when a thought came to her mind ' CPR ' yes that was her only chance of not losing Geb.

But she had just one problem, she didn't know how it was done. "Haggai! " she called in frustration.

"Yes maam" Haggai answered in a polite tone.

"Do you how to give a CPR? " She asked her with desperate eyes.

"Yes maam" Haggai said confidently.

"Tell me how" she ordered.

"Ok maam it's first em Check for breathing. If they are not breathing, then start CPR. " she said.

"He is definitely not breathing Haggai, so tell me how to conduct the CPR! " Nessy yelled at her as she was worsening her frustration.

" ok maam " Haggai started "Perform 30 chest compressions, then two rescue breathes after the chest compressions are done". She said trying hard to not shake her voice.

" how do l give the rescue breathes " Nessy asked with her eyes desperately searching for answers as they stared directly into Haggai's brown orbs.

"Ok maam, just pinch his nose and breath into his mouth" Haggai replied.

"Is that all? " Nessy asked rudely.

"Yes maam" she replied.

"You may leave". Nessy said to her in a more polite tone this time.

Immediately Haggai left, Nessy didn't waste any time at all. She started the CPR at once so as not to loose Geb as he has not been breathing for a long time now she even wondered if he was still alive. But she really hoped he was still alive and was going to be fine.

She laid him on the floor but raised his head up a bit. She started the chest compressions, with all her might as she was breathing hard because she herself was very tired as well but she never thought of stopping to rest, even if she felt like she was breaking down.

"28,29, 30" she counted as she pinched his nose and breathed into his mouth. He didn't bulge at all, there by increasing her worry, but she decided to calm down and relax her mind before trying again.

She took deep breathes in and deep breathes out, before she started again with the compressions. After that, she breathe into his mouth again, this her tears also entered his mouth as they flowed down her cheeks profusely.

"Please Geb, please wake up" she kept crying as she still conduct the CPR.

She breathed into him again, maybe the eight or ninth time, she didn't know because she was counting. Then he finally woke.

He coughed loudly as he breathed hard with his eyes darting around in search of one person 'his consort'. And there she was lying beside him. She looked worn out and very tired like she had some work out.

"Nessy what's wrong? You look so tired and worn out. Did anyone hurt you? Just say their names and l would make them pay. " he asked her with worried eyes as he cupped her face.

"Did Nut hurt you? Or may be that Morsi? Baby please talk to me" Geb said shaking her a little with his voice full of love and care.

"You hurt me"...
