The Means to Help

The group had bypassed the dining hall and Basileus was surprised to see them go straight for the garden where a long table with a white tablecloth was set up for them. 

Some of the flowers from the garden had been cut and put in short vases in the center of the table so that the people eating would still be able to interact with one another easily. There were tables set up and all sorts of appetizers and juices already set out for them. 

At the edge of the brick circle that the table was set up in the center of, there was what seemed to be a breakfast buffet with all sorts of breakfast meats, pastries, omelets, and an array of fruit. There were more beverages on a smaller table and pots for tea and coffee.
