Chapter 17: Diamond in the Rough

'Well shit...'

After having opened the doors, the Khajiit Royal Guard dragged me inside after seeing that I wasn't going to move.

Looking around me I can see a total of 6 elderly Khajiit, all female and donned in clothing reminiscent of a Shaman or Witch.

'These must be the 3 Clanmothers of Pellitine and Anequina respectively.'

"Who are you child? And how did you get inside the tower?" One of the Clanmothers said.

She must think I am an Ohmes, Ohmes are one of the variations of Khajiit that can be born. They are identical to Humans but has markings and slight fur but no tail or distinct feline features.

"I will answer you revered Mother, but what I have to say is far more important...The Thalmor caused the Void Nights..."

"..."

"..."

There was complete silence throughout the room.

The eight Cathay-Raht Guards did nothing as if they were statues awaiting for orders.

Whereas the Clanmothers were deep in thought and were on the verge of doing...something.

I have no idea how they will react.

One, I just dropped the bomb on them and said that their allies, who they worshiped and showed gratitude for having ended the Void Nights, were responsible for said event.

Two, I had just or could cause a national scale war between all of Elsweyr against the Aldermeri Dominion.

Three, they despise the Thalmor as many Khajiit people do because of the Thalmor's pride and boasting of their Elven Superiority. Thus, they may listen to me as I explain more before coming to a decision. Afterall, the weight of the entire Khajiit race and all of Elsweyr depends on the Clanmother's guidance and leadership to rule over them in place of the late deceased Mane.

"Child, you had best explain yourself, trying to trick Khajiit would only end badly for you!" Another Clanmother spoke with a rougher and grouchy voice.

So she's the Karen of the group, duly noted.

"Reverend Mother, it is as I said and I can explain all." I replied, hoping that some would take my side to let me speak while others would oppose.

"Sisters, what credibility does a child have to speak of such things?"

"She's right, he hasn't even shown us his face and instead chooses to hide behind drapes and rags."

Not letting them continue I pulled down my hood and slowly removed the cloth that hid my skin and face.

Once they were able to see me, completely exposed to their gazes, some gasped while some maintained a poker face.

"You're a Snow Elf!"

"They're extinct! How can this child be a real Falmer?! Only those twisted creatures remain in Skyrim!"

I'm a bit suprised that they remain very well informed about distant lands far from their own.

The Thalmor must have been preparing them for when they intend to attack Hamerfall and Skyrim in the future.

"I am the last of my race. My name is Sivreth Aival Erdys Lyr El Aur-I-Es. My mother had survived by hiding and fleeing ever since the war with Ysgramor and his Nord army. I am a Half-Elf but my Elven heritage was more dominant hence why I appear more Elven. In recent years my mother died saving me from our pursuers, and I continued to live in the shadows until I revealed myself to you now."

I gave a brief explanation to their curiosity while not giving my true last name. If I said "Aur-I-El" as my last name they might take offence, thinking I was Prideful to take the name of a God as my last name or I was insulting their deity Alkosh aka Akatosh, Auriel.

After collecting themselves, over the fact I was of a race as Ancient as the Dwemer and Aylied Elves, the Clanmother who I assumed to have the most renown spoke up.

"Child Sivreth, what was your intentions by comming here and speaking of such things. Also, you have failed to prove your accusations of our 'allies'."

She made sure to make it rather obvious her displeasure of calling the Thalmor "allies".

"It's as I said before. The Thalmor are responsible for the Void Nights and lied to you all this time. The Thalmor has repeatedly made clear their so called "Elven Superiority" over all other races. Even Elves that do not support their views are treated as such and shunned as traitors and a disgrace to their race. There are multiple Artifacts that are capable of altering the Twin Moons from their path in the sky. One of which was an Amulet that had once belonged to your race but was lost to time. I will not lie, I do not know if the Thalmor posses this Amulet but it is possible. They are responsible for causing the Void Nights as part of their eugenics experiment to see if the absence of the Moons would result in the Khajiit to be born with more Elf like characteristics."

The eyes of the everyone present widened as I revealed a massive secrat the Thalmor had kept all this time, ohhh boy, we're just getting started.

"H-HOW DARE THEY!"

"They think they can toy with us! That we are lesser than they are!"

"Boy! How do you know so much of this?!"

"Answer us!"

Before one of the guards moved to force me to speak, I do so willingly.

"I have conversed with Azura and we have come to make a pact."

At the mention of one of their Gods they began to listen intently to what else I have to say.

"The Thalmor indeed caused the Void Nights, but they also took advantage of your desperation return the Moons and so they deceived you into becoming their allies to help achieve their secrat goal. The Thalmor seek to conqour Hamerfall and Skyrim. To help in destabilising the leadership and strength of Elsweyr, they had assassinated the last and recent Mane of Elsweyr."

One stick after another came to them, every time I continued to reveal secrats of the Thalmor I was one step closer to achieving the easiest objective on my 'To Do List'. To remove Elsweyr from the Aldermeri Dominion.

I wanted to remove Valenwood from the Aldermeri Dominion in the future, but that is not likely to be possible. To be honest it just isn't worth it, the only reason I ever had the thought of it was because of the Bosmer's broken ability.

Apparently in the lore they could transform into some kind of creature, or any for that matter, and had completely annihilated an army with only a handful of transformed Bosmer. The downsides were great but the power it offers was unimaginable.

This continued for a while, as I kept telling one thing after another, even after I revealed the Thalmor's secrat plot to destroy the World and why they were trying to conqour Hamerfall and Skyrim. Also revealing the Thalmor's intentions to deactivate the Towers of Creation in order to destroy the World so that their Immortal Elven souls could return to their Gods in Atherius.

"Sivreth, you have told us a great deal of things which I and my sisters must discuss, but even if we wanted to, we cannot betray the Thalmor. If what you say is true, then they can remove Jode and Jone from the night sky should they wish to. Our people's way of life is dependent on Jode and Jone, we cannot turn against them as you suggest." The lead Clanmother said with some regret in her voice.

The others looked distraught and helpless at their situation.

"About that, you don't need to worry. As I said, I am now Azura's Agent, and by her grace has bestowed onto the Khajiit a 4th Moon free of the Thalmor's control!"

(Agent - temporary servant or one that has more freedom (aka via a deal or contract. The Skaal chief acted as a temporary unwilling Agent when the Dovahkiin said Mora wouldn't give Bend Will shout unless he gave the Skaal secrats to Mora.)

(Champion - posses the God's artifact or carries out their will in one way or another to cause great change or a "change" that is viewed in the God's eyes as enough to be called their Champion.)

Ignoring their confused questions I went over to a wall that had a glass plane and opened it.

Looking outside the Clanmothers saw no evidence of a "4th moon", the 1st and 2nd Moons were naturally Masser and Secunda whereas the 3rd moon only revealed itself during an Eclipse, it was more than likely that the 3rd moon is a metaphor to describe an Eclipse.

The new 4th Moon wasn't there since Azura had removed it as soon as i had made it appear in the sky.

I took in a deep breath and focused with all seriousness on using the [Moon Shifting] Thu'um, carefully pondering over the meaning of each Word of Power as I used their meanings to give way to shaping reality to my whim.

"SHUL KUN WUTH" (Sunlight, Moonlight, Age)

Within a few moments a new moon was seen in the night sky by all the inhabitants of Tamriel.

************************************

Not a single person on Nirn could comprehend what had happened.

Not just Nirn but even the Aedra and Daedra were made aware of this new change Instantaneously thanks to their Omniscience and Omnipresent powers.

From the Jarls of Skyrim, to the Great Houses of Morrowind, even deep within the marshlands of Argonia, the Bosmer of Valenwood, the Altmer of the Summerset Isles, Breton Knights and Lords of High Rock, Sellsword Redguards of Hammerfell from the deepest, the deepest slums of every city, the Moth Priests of the White-Gold Tower, to every prowling Nocturnal's Thieves or Sithis' Assassins.

All had seen, felt or heard the 4th Moon's presence thanks to its gravitational attraction in order to establish its new orbital path around Nirn.

Word had even reached fearsome beings that could contend with the Gods themselves such as Divayth Fyr.

And deep with a Daedric Realm, at the Summit of the Heramous Mora's Realm of Apocrypha, the First Dragonborn gazed at the empty pages of a book as its contents slowly filled with new knowledge, and thus he remained ever aware of the world outside.

The First Dragonborn gazed at a particular word on the, once empty, now filled pages of the book he held.

"Sivreth, the Snow Prince..." was all he muttered before he closed the book and continued to wander the endless Halls of Apocrypha as he had done so for over four thousand years.

************************************

All of Nirn felt the after effects of what Sivreth had done.

The Moon had been pre made before he used his Thu'um, it had only been shifted outside the boundaries of Time itself.

The power of not just one, but two Daedric Princes working together terrified him, but at the same time he was filled with glee at what he had accomplished.

...

Some time had passed and Sivreth wrapped things up with the Clanmothers.

The rundown of what transpired was him explaining the various benefits of this 4th Moon alongside the fact that the Thalmor would try to take credit for such an event yrt again.

The 4th Moon would periodically shift in and out of the night's sky. Just like Masser and Secunda, the 4th Moon would appear alongside them, but would NEVER overlap with them during an Eclipse.

The 4th Moon would not disrupt the birth cycle of the Khajiit, instead it would empower whichever varient was born at that time.

Additionally, the 4th Moon would triple the births of Khajiit and allow each birth to have a Humanoid and a mount type Khajiit so that they can grow up to become warriors in the future, resulting in a minimum ratio of (2 Humanoid Khajiit : 1 Khajiit Mount) in each family.

However, this had caused a bit of a argument amongst the Clanmothers as they saw it as artificial and sinful to manipulate what offspring a family would have at any time.

Of course, after many explanations, it was made clear that this would need to be voluntarily and whilst exposed to the Moonlight while marking the Khajiit couple with the blood of each other. Only a few drops would suffice.

This way the Khajiit can give birth to many warriors for the comming future.

Furthermore, it was easy convincing them that Azura herself made this her will, to prepare for the wars that would follow shortly after the Dragon's return and the Skyrim Civil War.

As a parting gift I had used [Moon Shifting] to make it so that there would be an Eclipse alongside the 4th Moon for 1 full day instead of 1 hour.

Luckily, I was doubly prepared since the 4th Moon would reflect the sunlight from Mundus making it so that Vampires wouldn't roam about.

Funny thing about Masser and Secunda, they don't reflect Sunlight, they create it artificially via a magical aura around the Twin Moons which causes the real Sunlight of Mundus to become artificial which is why Vampires and Werewolves can run about freely at night.

(A/n Source - Lunar Forge Theory, Kaalgrontiid's quotes)

During this time all birth rates within Elsweyr is 100% guaranteed and tripled regardless also ensures 100% fertility to ensure pregnancy

The Khajiit Clanmothers began to revere and worship him as a Hero sent by their Goddess Azura and Alkosh that had given a blessing to all Khajiit across Tamriel.

...

After everything had been settled with the Clanmothers, I had finally succeeded in gaining the support of an entire race and all of Elsweyr.

I have the backing of two Gods and an entire nation!

Muwahahahaha!

"-lo? hello?" A Clanmother said, bringing me out of my reverie of being a world level villain from an anime.

"Ah, yes sorry, my mind had wandered, please go on, you have my undivided attention."

"Alright. As I was saying, we want to give you this for what you have done for our people."

One of the guards moved over to take a small box on a table beside the Clanmother, he carried it to me which I promptly took and opened revealing a unfamiliar Ring with an all too familiar marking on its flat head surface.

As if reading my thoughts, she answered my unspoken question.

"This is a marked signit ring, I see you have noticed the shape of the signit." She said amused by my reaction.

I know this isn't real in the slightest, but the symbol on the ring is supposed to represent the Ring of Khajiit a Daedric Artifact.

Basic story, a Khajiit got this ring and it allowed for him to become renowned and Infamous to all Khajiit. Thus, the Ring of Khajiit was how it got its name.

There was also a Khajiit earing of some kind?

"The earing is similar to what we have on, it will show other Khajiit that you are respected among our people and hold a position of a Leader or Commander."

I raised an eyebrow at this, "Couldn't anyone else just fabricate these earings and just wear them?"

"Haha, I suggest you take a closer look at them if that's what you think."

I did as she said and I tried sensing any kind of magic but whatever it was she was trying to convey to me, I didn't get it.

After a few minutes of my frustrating attempts of analysing the earnings and ring, whilst under the amused gazes of everyone present, I still couldn't figure out what's so special of them!

I looked around me at all the Humanoid cats, and once I looked at the Clanmother's ears, that's when it clicked!

I walked over near to a Khajiit guard and held the earing close to them.

Nothing happened.

I had the earing make physical contact with him and that's when it happened.

The earing began to emit a faint magical hue.

It seems that it's similar some kind of blood seal or my Grimoire, but in this case a Khajiit's physical connection will awaken the magic inside the earing kinda like a metal detector.

"Is seems that answers your question of the earing. The Ring will be a symbol that will allow you to create sealed letters or missives to any of our people that may be able to aid you, or as a form of communication. The Ring is only given to us higher ups though yours is altered, it will serve to get the same meaning across. It'll also grant you minor authority of what we can call upon, should the earing not show proof enough of your station, the ring is to be a symbol that you are a friend and ally of Elsweyr."

I bow to them showing my utmost respect and gratitude.

"Thank you Revered Mothers for these gifts."

"It is not a problem Sivreth. You have helped us beyond what we can repay you. You will be given an escort to protect you on the journey back."

I pondered her words for a moment before an idea came to mind.

"Actually may I request for a group of spies that can help in my future endeavours to undermine the Thalmor?"

The Clanmother I had spoken to the most thusfar turned to her 5 sisters and they understand one another through their gazes. She turned back to me to give an answer.

"That will not be a problem. We will gather a suitable number within a week or two. There are certain hideaways you can go to avoid detection by the Thalmor. Show them the Ring and they will gladly help you without any problem."

"Then I will take my leave, thank you yet again, I will see you all soon.

...

It had been a few days since the meeting with the Clanmothers, I had travelled to the city of Torval where the supposed Orphan-Khajiit-Child is meant to be.

The Thalmor captain I had spied on before mentioned this Orphan was in a Prophecy that would help me.

"Righty O' You Are!" A joyful voice said from behind me!

I was scared shitless as I turned around in sudden fright but fell on my rear.

I still had fears and getting spooked in a universe where even a newborn baby can move at speeds that transcends Time itself is terrifying.

(Nirn's continents represent literal Time. Yakoda - Past, Tamriel - Present, Akavir - Future, the waters and sea is the literal Flow of Time. That means by simply walking on Nirn, you are traveling at speeds no version of The Flash has ever reached. The lore is busted, I know.)

Looking up, there wasn't anyone there, I turned my head around to survey the area but no-one was there.

"I'm down here silly! Honestly! You Mortals are blind, and you've got EYES!"

Ohhh fuck!

Looking down I saw the terrifying visage of a God!

An Alfiq with purple eyes and a tuxedo suit of half purple and half black with mostly gold embroidery.

(Image here)

"Hey hey! Why the long face?! Were you dying to meet me again so soon your playing dead already?! Oh wait you'll have 8 lives left...or do you? Would that be 7 cause you died as a Human, then you were reborn as an Elf and died an Elf? Oh wait! Yes it is! 7! Haha! I was right!....what was I talking about again????oh yes! Yarn is my favo-"

I present to you...Sheogorath...as the Skooma Cat...

Be amazed...

You can tell I am...

...

...

...

<*whispering* please kill me!>

(Why are you whispering to a plank page with words?)

<he's following me everywhere!>

(And they call me a "Mad" God?)

...

...

...

Myself and Sheogorath in his Skooma Cat God form walked down the streets of Torval, with him on my shoulder enjoying the ride.

I had to convince him to remove his suit while as an Alfiq since his clothing would blatantly announce he was the Skooma Cat, a God both feared and worshiped by the Khajiit.

He had caused quite the bit of ruckus during the events of following Molag Bal's attempt to meld the planes of Nirn with his Realm of Oblivion, Coldharbour.

He protested but as an Alfiq he is easy to trick, I just gave him some Yarn and he obeyed me, I took it away by disintegrating the Yarn he was playing with and quickly gave him cheese and milk to appease him temporarily.

"Why are you trying to find the girl? She doesn't seem interesting. You know what is interesting? The number of loops it takes to make MY YARN BALL, ITS A REAL SHAME WE DON'T HAVE IT WITH US!"

"Calm down-wait what? Girl?" I asked perplexed by his words.

He turned his head to look at me like some kind of an idiot.

"Honestly! She's the one your looking for right now! How could you not find out any information about her! It's easy. Just go and ask her, she's two lefts around that corner in an alleyway."

My eyes widen in suprise and I didn't waste any time and made a dash for it to where he said.

He could be lying, but Sheogorath tends to be like this at times and gives away useful information for free, courtesy of his Madness and Insanity.

Going down the Alley, I could see a small Khajiit girl around my age at the other end of the alley.

It looks like she is going to rob the merchant's stand which was closest to her from the plaza where she may be caught.

Watching her discretely, she moved out of the alley at some point and stealthily made her way to the stand.

Going past the bystanders that passed her by on the sand covered roads, she approached the stand on its side and swiped a few pieces of jewellery and gems.

She moved away and just when I thought she would be caught, she wasn't as her small size allowed her to vannish.

I could still see her, but that was only with my magic.

I kept on her tail (no pun intended) and followed her to centre of the city.

She entered a the attic of a large building, following after her I came across a rather interesting development.

The girl I was after seemed to have a few uninvited guests along with her own friends.

Choosing not to intervene yet I hid within the shadows and inside a broken wardrobe.

"Wha-MUMHHH!!!"

I quickly covered Sheogorath's mouth, ignoring him, I focused on what was going on.

Thalmor agents had somehow found the girl as well, although it seems they were not sure who was the Orphan child in the Prophecy since they have the girl's friends hostage as well.

"Is she the last one?" The Captain in Glass Armour asked a boy of similar age to the girl and myself.

"Yes." He said plainly without any sign of emotion on his face.

"WHY?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US?!" A female voice cried out, disbelief and shock in her tone.

"YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU!" Yelled another young voice, this one was an male.

The other kids couldn't take it and began trashing around trying to break free of the hold their captives had on them.

Honestly, can't they realise he is brainwashed or being mentally controlled.

The girl I was following had a hurt look on her face but I can tell she was faking it.

Clever, let's see what you're planning.

"Tie her up, we're taking all of them."

The Thalmor soilders went closer to her, as they reached to grab her, one of them suddenly brought their hand to their neck where they felt a warm liquid before a burning pain over came him.

His neck was slashed at by the girl's claws, even I was suprised by the agility she displayed.

That's when I decided to take a closer look at her and Sheogorath's words replayed in my head.

He said she wasn't all too "special".

I smirked realising what made her special, truly a "Diamond in the Rough".

She skillfully moved around the not so spacious room, using her supernatural agility to leap of the objects and walls of the room.

As she did she would grab the occasional item and threw them at the High Elves.

The other two kids broke free and made a run for it but was all in vain as they were captured once again.

They tried to speak in order to threaten her to stop and surrender or else they would kill her friends, but she swiftly slashed at their eyes or weak points in their armour that exposed the flesh.

The captain and the his second in command grew tired of this and took action.

The girl was blasted by a invisible shockwave to the her side and crashed near the cupboard I was in, breaking a table in the process.

""Na'shi!!!"" The two kids screamed out their friends name as they saw her being sent flying across the room.

"How incompetent can you all be, can't even carry out a simple order." The second in command said aloud as he approached the almost unconscious girl.

"We don't know which one of you is the "one", so we have to take you all alive, although that doesn't mean we need to take you in one piece.

The second in command held out a dagger and brought it close to the girl's cat ears, horror in her eyes as she tried to move but the pain was too much.

"KLO TIID UL!" (Sand, Time, Eternity)

(A/n real Thu'um Shout (Slow Time) arrangement TIID KLO UL ---> Time, Sand, Eternity)

Just as the second in command was inches from her ear with the dagger, his movements stopped.

Everyone looked at the man and saw a Spear of Ice had pierced straight through his skull.

His entire body slowly turned to Ice before shattering into a million motes of white particles that scattered themselves across thr room.

They all turned to the cupboard and saw a white blur exit and headed straight for the captain!

The captain in question had been able to defend himself against another Ice Spear that tried to kill him in the same manner his subordinate had died.

He blocked another two attacks by conjuring a defensive barrier around him.

He looked around him only to find that all his men had been turned to Ice statues with transparent spears through their body.

That was when he saw his attacker clearly, an Elf child with skin as white as freshly fallen snow.

A Falmer! It's him!

The Falmer was exhausted and looked like he would pass out from exhaustion at any moment.

No wonder, to call upon such power would out a strain on his body.

"You certainly caught me off guard and unaware, you did well Falmer but now your helpless before me. Good for me since I can kill you here and now and resolve all the problems you've caused the Aldermeri Dominion." The captain said, his pride and arrogance oozing out of him.

The Falmer leaned against his spar which wasn't made of Ice but actual material this time, he looked at the captain and smirked.

"Are you sure about that?"

My brows furrowed in confusion but that lasted only a moment before I heard a humming resonance?

I looked around me and saw that the three Ice Spears I had blocked which now lied on the ground were glowing a faint blue colour.

Realisation dawned on my face and I screamed in rage and horror as I tried to flee!

However, it was too late as the three Ice Spears glowed vibrantly before exploding, their small radius engulfed the man completely, his body was frozen Instantaneously.

A statue with an expression of horror was all that remained in place of the Thalmor Captain.
