When Officer Song arrived with his team, Xia Wan explained the situation to him and then left with Chen Mo.

"Aren't we staying to wait for the results?" Chen Mo asked, puzzled.

"Staying might mean we end up knowing nothing," Xia Wan replied, pulling Chen Mo towards the exit of the sanatorium.

Chen Mo, still confused, got into the car with a frown, lost in thought.

Xia Wan took a deep breath in the car and explained the situation to Chen Mo.

"The sudden fainting of Xia Ru was probably done by someone inside the sanatorium," Xia Wan said, pulling out a small bottle from her bag.

The bottle contained some reddish-brown liquid that looked like blood.

"But, when I tested the poison on Xia Ru, it wasn't injected all at once. It was administered slowly over time."

"Administered orally?" Chen Mo asked in surprise, "What is this?"
