It's You

"Xia Wan, it is indeed you!" Xia Ru seemed to go crazy upon seeing Xia Wan.

"It was you who had them lock me up here, wasn't it!"

"It's all your doing!"

"You're sick, where else could you go if not here?" Xia Wan said indifferently.

"Nonsense! When was I ever sick? I'm not sick!"

"Let them release me!" Xia Ru shouted loudly but stopped struggling and commanded Xia Wan, "Tell them to let me go! I've had enough of this damned place!"

Xia Wan, of course, would not heed Xia Ru's demands.

She walked over to Xia Ru's bed, sized her up, and then said, "Your uncle and his wife came to see you today, did you know that?"

Xia Ru was startled, her face showing disbelief and disappointment, "When did they come? Why didn't they wake me up?"

"Why did they come? Why didn't they try to take me away!"

"You didn't see them?" Xia Wan asked tentatively.
