Hearing Ivan's desperate cries, countless Dementors gathered around him, asking questions.
"What…happened?"
"As soon as I arrived… I saw… you… being beaten…"
"It's… the Ministry of Magic… wizards…"
…
Large numbers of Dementors gathered, and the sound of the wind in Ivan's ears was transformed into broken words.
In response to the Dementors' questions, Ivan feigned outrage and replied, "Why else? Because of our previous trespass on the Quidditch pitch, the Ministry's Special Investigator is prepared to punish us all with the harshest of punishments!"
Ivan's words caused an uproar among the Dementors, who began to panic.
Just because they ignored the Ministry's rules when they broke the rules doesn't mean they aren't afraid of the Ministry's methods.
Instead, they know that they are no match for those wizards.
It was on this basis that the Dementors were willing to take orders from the Ministry. The occasional loss of control was due to their chaotic nature and their desire to absorb pleasure temporarily overriding their fear of the Ministry.
Ivan was speechless at the sight of the Dementors. If you're so scared of the Ministry of Magic, why didn't you do it earlier?
However, in order to cause some chaos so that he could escape and not be caught, Ivan shouted.
"Be quiet! Everyone, please listen to me!"
All of the Dementors, who had been thrown into chaos and panic, stopped to stare at their strange-looking compatriot. They had never seen anyone with such a clear mind before, so they looked curiously at Ivan.
Ivan continued to shout.
"Are we going to continue to be oppressed by the Ministry? I hope no one has forgotten that it was never our fault!"
"It was the Ministry of Magic that restricted our personal freedom and forced us to carry out pointless patrols. Did they give any thought to our feelings? No! They never cared what we thought or even intended to give us any food…"
"It was the Ministry's mistake, and they tried to punish us in the worst possible way!
If we resist, we are punished! If we do not resist, we are punished! Why do we not choose to resist? Rights are always earned!"
Yvonne could tell that the Dementors were intrigued by her words, and she cleared her throat before continuing.
"I have a dream!
The dream is that one day every Dementor will be able to move freely through the wizarding world, spreading fear to all living things…
Dreaming of wizards, Dementors, Pixies, and many other intelligent creatures becoming one with one another…"
…
"I declare… the Dementors rise from this day forth!"
"Orcs never… pah, Dementors never serve!"
…
Ivan was full of nonsense as he babbled on, piecing together the propaganda he had heard from various sources in his previous life and passing it on to the Dementors.
Any wizard or Muggle in their right mind might have thrown him off the stage…
But when had these unintelligent Dementors ever heard such passionate words?
Following Ivan's rallying cry, the Dementors grew angry at the Ministry for not giving them food for nothing.
The thick black fog immediately spread across the entire sky, turning it a terrifying black…
Although the voices of the Dementors were nothing more than cold wind to outsiders, Professor McGonagall frowned at the constant malevolence in the air.
However, Professor McGonagall's frown disappeared and she looked at Umbridge with amusement.
She was confident that Umbridge would no longer stubbornly believe that the Dementors were actually harmless creatures that had been tamed.
Noticing that the Dementors were closing in on her with malicious intent, Umbridge panicked and regretted her rash actions…
Umbridge took a few vague steps back and angrily rebuked him.
"What do you want? I'm the High Inquisitor for the Ministry of Magic! Get back on patrol!"
Umbridge used her status as an Inquisitor for the Ministry of Magic in an attempt to scare off the Dementors.
Unfortunately for Umbridge, the Dementors around her were either overcome by rage or inspired by Ivan's attempt to fight for their race.
"Be careful, our enemy is that short, fat wizard down there, the one who just hit me. Don't hit the wrong person… The other wizard is very powerful, not someone we can deal with!"
Ivan, the instigator, considered his Dementor form to be mediocre in combat, so he did not enter the fray himself. Instead, he floated in the air to cheer on his "companions", guiding them away from McGonagall and towards Umbridge.
Of course, Ivan was not worried about Professor McGonagall's safety. He was just reminding the Dementors not to get themselves killed!
Although there were a lot of evil creatures, they were troublesome to deal with for Professor McGonagall…
However, Ivan was not worried that Professor McGonagall would interfere.
Yvonne had been listening to Umbridge's conversation with McGonagall, and she knew very well that McGonagall would be unhappy with Umbridge by now, and would most likely take this opportunity to slack off for a while and make Umbridge suffer before thinking about rescuing her.
Like a tidal wave, the Dementors descended, turning the surrounding space into a cage of black fog. There was no sunlight, only bone-chilling cold and pain…
Umbridge's expression became ferocious, and she raised her wand and shouted angrily.
"Expecto Patronum! (Expecto Patronum)!"
With Umbridge's all-out effort, a nimble cat leapt from the tip of the wand and knocked the nearest Dementor flying.
However, there were too many Dementors here. As soon as one was driven away, several more gathered around.
Umbridge had to disperse some of the power of the Patronus Charm to form a shield in front of her, and then have the cat Patronus initiate an attack to barely hold off the Dementors.
However, this shield did not last long before it dissipated into white mist under the impact of the many Dementors…
The seemingly powerful cat-like Patronus was subsequently torn to shreds by the Dementors…
