A new son

Corey smiled at his brother and let him down after pushing the knife out of him. Stabbing his own brother, he thought about what he just did and his heart couldn't contain it. No matter how much he tried to be heartless, he just couldn't. Even all he had passed throughout fifteen years couldn't make him as heartless as he wanted.

He dropped the knife and went away because he couldn't watch as they threw his brother into the river below. But at least, he was able to whisper to him some things.

According to the plan, he had to cause his accident, he was wearing the same outfit as his brother so he all he did was to take some of his belongings to bare his name and appearance. It won't last for long, the plan was simple and that was to destroy the Tiffins and own it all!

Now he was at the hospital recalling his actions and still couldn't convince himself to contain it. It was the same thing Donald did to him twelve years ago he did to him today. It was an eye for an eye, he shouldn't feel guilty, no, he shouldn't. So he lay back in his bed to rest his tired body, for the first time in fifteen years, he got to sleep on a comfortable bed.

Claire barged into the hospital with that high heels that could make her fall but she was used to wearing heels. She ran to the nurses and asked for directions. Her parent's watched how she reacted to the situation, she had called them to tell them about what her mother-in-law told her. So they met at the entrance of the hospital.

Their daughter owned the famous mall in town and was successful on her own, she was an independent woman which was impressive but too bad it wasn't to Donald, the man she loved.

Claire raced down the hall in search of room 231 and when she did, she barged in to see the man she loved having his head wrapped with bandages. "Donald!" She called his attention and the moment he looked at her, her worry increased. Why would he be in such a condition, she texted him last night, how come?

"Son," Corey heard his mother's voice after so many years. And her voice brought a big core memory to his mind that instantly took an effect on his heart but that wall of grudge fired the feelings back, so he lowered his head to see his parents coming close to him as he was still lying on his back.

They could cry this way because they were scared of losing their son Donald. That was how they've always acted, they cared more for Donald but now that they were placing all attention on him, he felt suddenly adored but at the back of his mind was this thought reminding him that they were throwing all this attention on Donald and not him.

Corey remembered everything but he didn't know anything about being a CEO or anything about the life Donald had been living so pretending to forget most of his memory would help him a lot that was the main reason for a deliberate accident.

"My son...why?" His mother didn't let her eyes cease their tears, she sniffled her runny nose and sighed heavily. "You aren't a rough driver. What happened?" She took his hand gently and Corey... Corey felt that warmth he always felt back when they were a happy family. He wanted to do as his mind told him, not to feel what he wanted but for this moment, he would. He watched quietly.

"Son..."

Corey drifted his gaze to his father. Now, his father was a white man who always dress decent and elegant. His grey hair that was confused with black hair was few on his head making it look like he had a haircut but his hair never grow. His eyes were dark just like his sons, his twin sons had dark eyes which was an inheritance. His lips were slim and he had a wide nose. To rate his look, he was 45% a handsome man which wasn't what his boys inherited. Those boys were freaking handsome and hot! Lastly, Mr Tiffin was a tall man.

And his mother, a short small woman who worry too much, she had cat eyes and her balls were brown. Her lips were slim too and her hair was also confused with grey and black settling firmly on her shoulders. Her body looked fat and she had a gown on.

Corey studied them for a while before looking away, suddenly hating their presence.

"Was it because we asked you to marry Claire?" That question shocked him that he widened his eyes at them. Wait... Donald was getting married?! Oh no, was he going to accompany a woman because of his revenge? Gosh, this was harder than he thought and plotted.

"Married? Why?" His voice was just the same.

"I'm sorry son but everything has been arranged and..."

"What? Why would you..." He pushed to sit but his parents stopped him. How much they loved their son Donald. Corey desperately wanted to jerk their hands away but he was confined by his energy. He was void of strength.

"Did I ever agree to this?" Corey acting as Donald asked gently just as his brother would.

"We talked about this yesterday son. You agreed to it and you seemed to like Claire...why did you..." His father grimaced his face.

"I don't remember saying I want to get married..." His was suddenly cut off when he heard his brother's name. He had to get used to answering Donald.

"Donald!" A young lady stormed in with her parents, anyone could tell that they were her parents. "Donald," she approached him worriedly as he could view it.

Her hair was tied into a high ponytail, making her forehead glow, she had no make-up on and her face was glowing brightly as if she applied oil on her face. Her dress was unique and was looking so expensive. The clothes were probably designed just for her. And damn, her waist was so tiny. Actually, she was tiny. He could see that he was two to three times bigger than her.

She was as white as an angel's wing and as she walked toward him with her shoe echoing, he saw how small her breasts were, disappearing in her tight expensive shirt that was paired with his mini flare skirt. Her thighs were beautiful but her face was more beautiful.

Corey wasn't admiring her, he was studying her. Her lips looked okay and not kissable to him because he didn't know what kissing felt like. Her jaws were slim making her look slim. Her eyes were beautifully dark with her small nose perfecting her beauty.

And his question came out as he didn't know who she was. Thanks to the injury he had,he was able to cover it with amnesia. "Wh-wh-o is she?"

Claire looked at his parents worriedly. "What do you mean? Donald?" His mother asked. "She's your wife... she's going to be your wife, how could you..."

But Corey stayed quiet and turned to his parents who seemed worried st their assumptions. With Claire's parents being smart, they called the doctor and he came to explain that he might be amnesia because of shock which gradually, he'd recover soon. They were advised to let him rest so he could have time to recover and not pressurize him.

Even when his parents agreed to leave, Claire insisted she stayed with him. She wanted to watch him recover. Donald's parents stared at the doctor for confirmation if it was alright and he gave a positive answer.

With that, his parents said heartwarming words to him before kissing him and promising to come to visit when the sun is out. Claire's parents also kissed him before leaving the man and woman together.

After they went through the door, everywhere settled in silence, he didn't utter a word and just rolled over to sleep on his side.

Claire watched him worriedly, did he perhaps cause his accident so he wouldn't get to marry her? She wanted to ask but was scared of his answer. And it seem like he didn't remember her. Why her of all people?

"You had us all worried you know," She made her voice echo in his ear. Corey didn't know who she was a d having a conversation with her wasn't a sure thing so he stayed quiet.

"Donald," she called him again. "Are you asleep?" Her question sounded stupid. "I'm going to be your wife."

"Why?" His voice came out eventually.

"It's... necessary," was her able answer.

Corey stayed quiet again.

"You really don't remember a thing?"

"I don't," answered Corey.

"Do you hate that much to cause yourself an accident?" She wished she could take her words back.

Corey then wondered what relationship Donald had with his girl so he didn't give a response.

"You find me irritating right?"

"What's your name?" He rolled over to face her and he asked in frustration instead.

Claire pouted her and muttered her name, "Claire."

"Claire, please stop talking and asking questions, you are here to take care of me not cause problems!"

"But..." She was pissed but there was point in his statement. With that, she walked away from him.
