Joker: I Have Too Many Cards!

As the connection between the two ferries is severed, suspicion ensues.

The tall, bald prisoner with a menacing gaze stares at the guard, "You don't want to die and we too... give me the detonator. These people will kill you and take it anyway, the result is the same. Give it to me; I'll do what you should have done ten minutes ago!"

The guard, breathing heavily, glances at the clock. The Joker's deadline is approaching. After a moment of hesitation, he hands the detonator to the bald prisoner.

On the other ferry, the vote results are three hundred in favor, and one hundred against, but no one acts.

Finally, an ordinary citizen, perhaps a working-class person, steps forward, adopting a carefree demeanor, "Since no one wants to get their hands dirty, fine, let me do it. The people on that ferry have already made their choice—murder, theft, accompanying these kinds of people to their deaths is unnecessary!"

People on both ferries seem determined to let the other perish, especially in such a life-and-death crisis.

On a high rise, the Joker continues to subdue Batman, pressing him against the window, crazily laughing, "We should pause for a moment; otherwise, we'll miss the fireworks!"

Batman, struggling, growls, "There won't be any fireworks!"

The Joker gestures, "Look, it's starting!"

The time for fireworks arrives, but there's no movement on the river. When the camera cuts to the ferries, the bald prisoner, after receiving the detonator, doesn't even glance at it; instead, he looks directly out of the window!

This surprises many, considering his appearance and demeanor suggested a ruthless individual who would threaten the guard without hesitation.

Unexpectedly, after getting the detonator, he tosses it aside!

Who would have thought this seemingly ruthless guy would do this?

The ordinary citizen on the other ferry, despite talking casually, hesitates after getting the detonator, lacking the determination to press it. Eventually, he puts it back in the box and sits down.

Many viewers, expecting danger from the people on both ferries in Joker's peculiar and sinister social experiment, are left puzzled.

At least one ferry should have casualties. The suspicion chain has formed, and people's hearts are hard to test, especially in such a life-and-death situation.

Peter Parker takes a deep breath and smiles, "The Joker is disappointed. This madman can only see the ugly side of humanity but refuses to see, or doesn't want to see, the goodness in people's hearts."

Commissioner Gordon also smiles, "The people of Gotham aren't beyond redemption!"

In the video, the Joker, unable to witness the fireworks he anticipated, becomes displeased and gloomy. Trying to laugh, he fails.

Turning to check the time, it's indeed the moment for the explosion, but both ferries remain motionless.

"What are you trying to prove?" Batman, suppressed by him, says in a deep voice.

Joker enjoyed telling stories about the scars on his face, even in his madness, he couldn't escape the principle that villains always have a lot to say...

Batman, not being a very attentive audience, coldly said, "I don't know, but I do know how you got the new scars on your face!"

Before Joker could react, the grappling hook on Batman's forearm shot out, scratching Joker's face and seizing his shoulder, throwing him off the building!

Batman, true to his nature, seized the opportunity and turned the tables.

Even as Joker faced the imminent threat of falling to his death, he didn't panic like a normal person; instead, he laughed maniacally. Today, he might not have seen the fireworks he hoped for, but breaking Batman's no-kill rule remained an interesting twist for him!

Unfortunately, Joker couldn't even die properly. Batman shot a grappling hook from above, catching him and hauling him up.

Disappointed, Joker said, "Oh, you, you just won't let me have a peaceful death, will you? You've really exhausted all your tricks, but I stand firm, unmoved! You truly are incorruptible, aren't you?"

Batman, in a solemn tone, said, "You should spend the rest of your life in the mental hospital!"

Batman's heart was like iron, valuing his principles and boundaries highly. Even if Joker had killed the woman he loved, Batman still refused to break his principles.

From this perspective, Batman was actually brighter than Harvey Dent, the Two-Face, because people often disregard or flex their principles.

Joker chuckled, "Maybe I can share this place with you. Look, the number of crazies in this city is increasing. Perhaps one day we'll be roommates."

Batman disagreed, "This city just showed you that there are people who firmly believe in justice!"

Joker wiggled his fingers, "When their mental pillars collapse, there won't be anymore. When they witness a real Harvey Dent and his 'heroic deeds'. Do you really think I'll entrust all the battles involving the 'soul of Gotham' to punches and kicks with you? Impossible. You have your ace, and mine is Harvey!"

Batman stared coldly, "What have you done to him?"

Joker didn't hide it, "I've corrupted Gotham's white Knight and lowered him to our level. It's not difficult, as you know, 'madness' is like gravity. All it takes is a little push, and people float towards it!"

Batman realized the severity of the situation, said nothing, and walked away.

Joker laughed wildly, even surrounded by the police; he was exceptionally happy. Because in this round of the game, he ultimately emerged victorious!
