Chapter 10 - The HQ
"Peter where are we going" Ned complains.
"We're almost there" I tell him in barely contained excitement.
"Why didn't we take an Uber" Ned continues to complain.
"We've only been walking for 5 minutes" I state.
"I know, but ever since you took me swinging with you. All other modes of transport have become tedious and boring" Ned explains
"Oh trust me I know. That's why I plan to get a motorbike when I turn 17" I say in return. "And we're here"
"Where even are we? and why are we here?" Ned asks looking at me.
"We just a few blocks from my home. And we're for that" point at the nearby warehouse.
"I've never seen that building before?" Ned questions confused.

"Of course you have it's just been remodelled. Let's head inside" I tell him walking into the warehouse.
"Peter we can't just walk into someone's building" Ned says as he follows me.
"I can, when WE own the building" I tell him smiling.
"What?!" Ned says following after me when he recovers from his shock.
"So what do you think" I say with my arms wide as we get inside the warehouse.

"This is so cool, we have an entire building" Ned says.
"Well technically you have a building" I tell him offhandedly.
"I own the building" Ned whispers I shock. "I OWN THE BUILDING?"
"Yep, I'll have to remodel the inside for the game servers and possible employees," I tell him. "I on the other hand, own the basement"
"Basement?" Ned questions quietly still in shock a little.
"Yeah, I've been dying to show you this," I say as I jog over to what could be considered the only office in building.
Walking to a empty wall. I announce myself. "Peter Parker" the wall then moves slightly to reveal a what I named a smart lock.
"Awesome a secret door" Ned says from behind me.
"The code to get in is 91052501" I tell him. "It's a combination of our birthdays"
"Sweet" Ned comments as the hidden door opens to revel an elevator.
"Let's go" I say stepping into the elevator. "Going down" I say after Ned steps in.
"It's voice activated aswell" Ned says in excitement making me smile
"Of course. I used 6 different construction companies to build the basement, elevator and hidden door" I explain.
The elevator comes to a stop after a few seconds of travelling down. The doors opened to revel our hero HQ.

"This is so cool" Ned says entering the base.
"I know right" I agree. I did personally design this place after all.
"Here come check this out" I say to Ned getting his attention. Bring him to a table filled with top of the range monitors and PCs.
"This is yours" I tell him. "For when your helping me as Night Watch"
"I have my own name" Ned exclaims,
"Of course you do, can't be exposing your secret identity. We can also change it if you want" I tell him.
"No I like, Night watch, watcher of the night" Ned says to himself. "Are those your suits" pointing to my suits which are on mannequins
"Yeah, but they are just the spares I always keep the MK II on me" I tell him. "Now there's someone I want you too meet. S.A.R.A.H introduce yourself"
"Hello Mister Leeds I'm S.A.R.A.H" A female voice says from outta no where.
"What the hell was that" Ned shouts in shock.
"I'm Peters Artificial intelligence code named S.A.R.A.H" The same voice answers.
"You made an A.I!"
"Damn right I did, S.A.R.A.H still needs some work but we're getting there" I tell him.
"Where is it speaking from?"
"Well there's speakers dotted all over the place, and It's connected to the NightWatch station over here" I say walking to the computers.
"What are all these projects?" Ned asks as he goes through the computers files.
"It's Spider-Man stuff. For example Project drones is obviously for spider drones for recon" I tell him
"Oh yeah so obvious" Ned says sarcastically. "What's Project Fabulous then?"
"It's my designs on a fabricator to help make new suits" I explain to my bestie. "Come, there's still one more room for you to see" I tell Ned as I head towards a closed double door.
"What's in this room?" Ned asks curious.
"This" I begun pushing open the doors, "is the training room"
"Whoah" Ned whispers.

"It has some of the best equipment I could find" I tell him, "unfortunately it's not finished just yet as the magnetic room isn't done yet"
"Magnetic room?" Ned questions as he explores.
"Yeah, I figured I couldn't just buy or make weights the weigh a couple of tons, so I believe magnets will work instead"
"Ah I understand. With enough magnetic force a simple dumbbell could could weigh a few hundred kilos" Ned says in understanding.
"What's this for?" Ned questions pointing towards an open space.
"That's the combat training room" I explain. "S.A.R.A.H has been gathering various martial arts to help create one for my own personal style"
"Would it not be better to learn from a teacher?" Ned asks.
"It would if I was a normal person, but in here I don't have to hold back and can learn with out the potential to hurt some one" I explain.
