Napoleon Bonaparte accepts the Frankfurt Proposal from the Austrians, trying to end the long Napoleonic war ravaging the European continent.

Even if the French had just lost the Battle of Leipzig, the Austrian Habsburgs who had just become relatives of the Bonapartes after the marriage between Napoleon Bonaparte and Marie Louise of Austria, wants to end the war maintaining the balance of power in Europe.
