Peking City, Qing Empire
The day after the meeting...
"Is everything ready for the assault?"
"Yes, General. All men are ready."
Amidst all the heavy artillery barrage sounds on the battlefield. General von Heinrich oversee the loading and firing of more than fifty cannons firing at will at the Chaoyangmen gate of the Qing Empire's capital, Peking.
The gate and the walls around it have been already reduced to rubbles but General von Heinrich has still not ordered a charge into the gate even if they are competing with the other powers who would be the first to enter and liberate the international legation.
It is because there are still some shots firing back at them at the position of the rubble wall. He wants to clear every possible enemy hiding behind the walls so that the photographers now staying at the camp would see a peaceful and no casualty advance into the city.
