Chapter 213: The Thing in the Wall (Edited)

"Percy, I don't feel well."

As the Halloween party continued, a pale Ginny found her brother.

"I'm going to get Madam Pomfrey!"

Percy immediately got up from his seat and tried to find Madam Pomfrey, who was also in the Great Dining Room.

Ginny had been sleepwalking for a while, and although she had been cured by Madam Pomfrey, she had been in a bad mental state for some time.

The other day Percy had asked Madam Pomfrey to give her a potion, but it hadn't worked too well.

"No, I'd like to go back to the dormitory and rest, I just wanted to give you a heads up."

Ginny, or rather Voldemort, paused, it was the perfect time for him to make his move since everyone was in the Great Dining Hall.

Still a little worried, Percy approached Ginny's roommate.

"Sherry, can you escort Ginny back to the dormitory? She's not feeling well."

Although Shirley still wanted to stay here and watch the cat, after a moment's hesitation, she agreed, took Ginny's arm and the two left the Great Dining Hall together.

As soon as they stepped onto the second floor, Voldemort, calmly drawing his wand, cast a spell on Sherry, controlling her to close her eyes and continue to follow Ginny, before the two turned in the direction of Myrtle's bathroom.

Voldemort entered the Chamber of Secrets and woke the basilisk, then told it to be quiet before removing it from the Chamber of Secrets....

Knowing that Fish could understand the basilisk and had good hearing, Voldemort was not likely to make that mistake again.

"Hiss ... (Go fetch Filch's cat.)"

Voldemort ordered in a low voice.

Uroboros lifted his massive head, swung it around and spat out his tongue to detect Mrs. Norris's scent.

In the blink of an eye, he had located his target, and he carried his massive body up the stairs.

The Halloween party was a bit too noisy for a normal cat like Mrs. Norris, so she stayed a while, ate some of the food Filch had given her, and then slipped out of the Great Hall on her own and ran to the trophy room, where she dove into one of the trophies and fell asleep.

"Squeak..."

The sound of the door bursting open woke Lady Norris, who had been sleeping inside a trophy, jumped off the trophy to see who had entered, and then saw the figure of a huge snake, with yellow eyes, on top of the trophy on the opposite shelf.

"Hmph! You're lucky."

Voldemort looked at the petrified Lady Norris, and instead of letting the basilisk eat her, he lifted the stiff cat and left the trophy room.

After finding a torch to hang Lady Norris, Voldemort left two lines of magical writing on the wall: The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, Enemies of the Heir, Beware.

Having done all this, Voldemort returned to Myrtle's bathroom with the basilisk and Sherry, and handed his diary to Ouroboros.

"Hiss..."

After instructing the basilisk that the diary was to be given to Fish and that he was not to be mentioned, Voldemort altered the memories of Ginny and her housemates and cleared the area.... With Fish, a guy with five sensitive senses, Voldemort was used to doing this whenever he was away.

Once this was done, his soul fragment went back into the diary and was carried down the pipe by him basilisk.

Ginny and Sherry, who were hit by the spell, returned to the dormitory dazed and then gradually regained their senses, but because Voldemort manipulated their memories, they found nothing wrong.

"Thank you, Sherry."

Ginny thanked her roommate, "You don't have to stay here with me, go back to the party."

"Are you sure you're okay? shall I go then?"

Naturally, Sherry didn't want to stay, the party or the cat was much more fun than staying in the dorm, but out of concern for Ginny she had no intention of leaving.

But now that Ginny had said so, Sherry, after a few unspoken excuses, left the dormitory and ran back to the Great Dining Room to continue the party.

After Shirley left, Ginny habitually reached under her pillow for....

"Huh? What am I trying to do?"

She had already forgotten all the memories of the diary, it was purely a matter of habit.

After fumbling under the pillow for a few days and finding nothing, Ginny realized, stunned, that she didn't even know what she was trying to feel.

"I seem to have really lost my mind..."

Ginny pounded her temple with her fist, wanting to lie down and rest, but feeling like something was wrong, as if there was always something she hadn't done.

"Why all of a sudden...do I feel the need to write in a journal?"

After a few moments of flailing and squirming in her bed, Ginny finally had a clear idea.

She scratched her red hair in confusion, but followed her heart's desire, took the pen and notebook from her locker and started writing in her diary....

Although she kept feeling that something was wrong with the journal in her hands, she gradually stopped caring as she wrote in it.

...

In the basement, Nick's anniversary party.

With the sweets Harry had ordered during the day with Fish, he and Ron ate something, but still wanted to get out of here as quickly and quietly as possible.

"Harry, Peeves is gone, for real this time."

Said Ron, who had been secretly watching Peeves.

Peeves had been hovering around them for a long time to keep them from leaving, and when they wandered away once, they did so deliberately, and had only gone two steps towards the exit when Peeves stopped them again.

So Harry and Ron found a corner and continued to huddle together, completely indifferent to Peeves' provocations.

This managed to bore the ghost, so he annoyed them for a while and then turned to play with the other ghosts.

The two continued to watch Peeves as they avoided the other ghosts and slowly moved outside.

"It's about time... The feast in the Great Hall is probably over, right?"

Ron sighed as he covered his growling stomach, having managed to escape the cellar.

"... Sorry."

Harry reached into his pockets, but this time he couldn't pull out any more snacks.

He didn't have one of Fish's magic bags with the undetectable extension spell, so he only had a few sweets he had forgotten to eat during the day, which he had just shared with Ron.

"Hey, I'm not blaming you." Ron patted Harry on the back, "Who knew that the ghost party would be so ... well, special? Let's hurry up and see that the party is over."

The two quickened their pace and headed for the Great Hall, but unfortunately the Halloween party had long since ended, and even the dishes on the tables had been cleared away.

"Well...looks like we're going to have to go back to the Common Room and eat the Halloween candy.... Or should we ask Comey in the kitchen for something to eat?"

Harry scratched his head and looked at Ron.

"Let's go back to the Common Room..."

Ron sighed again, as much as he wanted to go to the kitchen for some hot food, but now that the Invisibility Cloak was off, he didn't want to get caught by Snape with Harry...the kitchen and Snape's office were both in the basement.

"Come this way."

Harry tugged Ron, who was about to go up the stairs, and pointed in the direction of the hallway.

"Did you forget the secret passage Fish took us through last time?"

The secret passage was quick and it wasn't easy for Snape to catch them, you just had to be careful not to run into Filch.

So the two of them plunged into the secret passage, and before long they were on the second floor.

"Harry, what do you think that is?" said Ron suddenly, pointing to a wall as they exited the passageway.

Harry followed his finger and saw that something more than a torch was shining on the wall in the corner, and beneath it there seemed to be a black mass hanging down.

Driven by curiosity, the two Gryffindors did not hesitate to approach the wall and were met by the glowing writing and the petrified Mrs. Norris.

"My cat!" shouted Filch from behind them as Harry and Ron were stunned.
