261st Break: Misunderstanding

Jiang Yan misunderstood his sweetheart. And judging by Jiang Yan's reaction, it seems that Lin Hao misunderstood Jiang Yan, too.

"Your Majesty…" Lin Hao spoke. Even though he has calmed himself, his entire body is still trembling. He doesn't know whether it was due to anger, or something else. (A/N: jealousy.) "I, Lin Hao, have never harmed or killed anyone, and I will never will!" he said. "I also don't harbor such thoughts or intentions!" he said.

Jiang Yan froze as he stared at Lin Hao's reddened eyes. Lin Hao is crying, but he is trying to hold it back.

"No matter the grudges between me and Meng Xing – " Lin Hao continued as he bit his tongue when he spoke Meng Xing's name. " – but those grudges are not that deep for me to have the intention to harm him!" he said as a tear finally fell from his eye.
