"The king has arrived, open the gate!" shouted one of the soldiers guarding the gate.
Four soldiers ran over in a hurry, their hands pulling the gate-opening lever with all their might. There was a rumbling sound as the magnificent gates opened, krieett kriet as if welcoming the arrival of the leader.
Then, to the sound of horses, King Nolan entered the gates, followed by a line of loyal soldiers. In the center of the line of soldiers, the captives were lined up with ropes tied to each other, their expressions full of confusion and uncertainty.
There was no greeting at that moment, it was still quiet, and Aywin came forward to follow Nolan on his horse.
"Their attack doesn't look big, no buildings were damaged," Aywin said firmly, his eyes scanning the surroundings carefully.
