"I know now why you were looking for a quiet place," Eran said as he squinted, looking at Taneaya with understanding.
Taneaya glared at Eran for a moment, then refocused on the food in front of her. Although she tried to ignore Eran's gaze, the embarrassment and attention of the people around her made her feel rather uncomfortable.
From the moment they entered the food stall, they had been the center of attention. The other patrons started talking in hushed voices, and many of them were mesmerized by Taneaya's beautiful and charming appearance.
Some people even dared to try listening in on their conversations. Some of the women who were there looked at Taneaya with jealousy because of her beauty, while some of the men looked at Eran with a look filled with envy.
"Your noble face can't be covered, it must be very annoying to be the center of attention," Eran said while trying to find words that might make Taneaya feel calmer.
