He knew his mum's pissed off face. He could see that she was trying not to yell, but it was sort of hard not to when he was the reason for her ire right now. It had come to his knowledge that he had been neglecting her just a bit. So a way to fix it was to come over and spend some time with her. Maybe even spend the night. That would cause an argument later on between him and his dad, but that would be a small price to pay. Conversation hadn't been the best between them since the whole Alex fiasco.

She didn't like ordering takeout, but he had whined that he wanted Chinese food. Due to his puppy eyes and the whole capitalizing on the whole situation she had caved. So now that she had done it she expected them to eat it. All of it. Problem was that he wasn't because his phone kept vibrating.
