Chapter 23 The Aftermath of Alina

Hadrian was able to catch Along before she fell on the ground and Zoya quickly used her moved use her Air bending to move the skiff.While Hadrian healed Mal.

Alina tried to sit up and a bolt of pain shot through my shoulders.She ignored it and pushed herself up,she saw it was Hadrian who was healing Mal,Alina sighed in relief.

While Hadrian not turned to Alina who was still in dizzy state asked"How did you get here?"

Hadrian smiled and replied"That is a surprise."but he was pretty sure it would become known to everyone about his transformation ability.

Hadrian was looking at her Injury said"You're collarbone is fractured,this is going to hurt a bit."

Hadrian held his hand above her collar and started healing her,which caused Alina to wince in pain as he whispered"Your Grisha powers are now known to everyone.You are a Sun summoner."

Alina was shocked,she really thought that was dream or hallucination,so she asked"So will they take me away?"

Hadrian sighed and replied"Yeah,you have to be trained after all other than me you are the only sun summoner ever to known and not using your abilities after it is awakened can lead to Grisha getting sick."

Alina didn't know that particular detail,so she asked'What is going to happen to Mal?"

Hadrian was thoughtful and replied"He is your childhood friend,so don't worry we will figure something out."

Hadrian while internally thought"The boy is different."

Hadrian was sure Mal wasn't a Grisha,but what was he is the question.Zoya still stood by the mast, arms raised, driving us forward on a strong wind, a single soldier by his side. The deck was destroyed in places,as they arrived back at Kribirsk.

A Corporalki Healer's came rushing in and started tending to the wounded,Hadrian was sure to give General a tongue lashing of a life time and Zaltan really scared of Hadrian,also Hadrian arrival on the Skiff in the form of Fire Bird became legend and having had many witness.

While Hadrian took her and Mal to let them rest,while Zoya entered the tent looking Hadrian said"General Kirigan wants to see the new sun summoner."

Hadrian sighed replied"Tell him,I will bring her myself."

Zoya asked"So she is also a Sun summoner."

Hadrian nodded and replied"Yeah,I knew she was Grisha.But since she didn't want to be one,I didn't want to force ber into it."

Zoya sat next to Hadrian leaning on his shoulder said"You did your best."

Hadrian then remembered Zoya didn't call him about the Fold crossing,so she asked"Why didn't you tell em about crossing the Fold?"

Zoya sighed and replied"I wanted to bear a some of your burden,after all you are going back and forth from Frontline and Fold multiple times.Also if not fr the fire on the deck,we would have made it through the Fold."

Hadrian understood her point and couldn't tell her off,so with kiss on the forehead whispered"I was really worried about you."

Zoya nodded and asked"You should bring Nina here,she must be confused."

Hadrian nodding replied"I will go check her."

Hadrian disapparited as he distorted and twisted within a clear haze accompanied by a rustling sound, as well their usually being a cracking sound and sometimes faint smoke cloud in the place of the person, being accompanied by a bright flash of bluish-white light.while ending in a crack, as if he is being sucked into a vortex.
