With Each Other

Marian sat down in front of Tina's bed while checking something in her paper. A mere prop would distract her conscience upon doing something wrong. Marian clicked the ballpoint pen repeatedly, and it annoyed the president. 

With sunken eyes and cheeks, hollow lips, and knuckled fists, she called out, "Hey, stop that noise, it freaks me out." 

Marian wanted to annoy her further, but they had to get straight to the point. 

Both of them glared to each other's eyes. Marian displayed a smirk, replying, "Do you remember me, Mrs. President?" 

She was a teenager back then: a woman who doesn't understand the society. Marian is already in her middle age. After losing her loved ones, Marian comprehended what's best for the country. Maybe… perhaps… what she done was right.
