Chapter 1 What in the World!!!

Well, where should I start, I guess at the beginning of this weird-ass day, My name is Miku Hara, and today started like any other day. I woke up at 4:30 and got ready for work. First, I start with coffee because who can function without it. After that, it was shower, eat, apply makeup and lastly, get dressed in one of my original dresses for the day.

Did I forget to mention that I am a professional designer? My mistake, well I am, and I even own my company and strive to make beautiful affordable designs, Or at least I used to look at myself getting sidetracked but back to the day that had? I left the house and headed off to work, and that's when it all started to go downhill.

First, the scheduled model that was to show up for one of our commercial shoots had not shown up without so much as a heads up; next to happen was a shipment of fabrics that was supposed to be delivered that day was delayed due to storms and wouldn't show up till tomorrow which I needed to complete a basic design for a VIP.

Suffice to say that they were not happy when I had to call them and tell them that the outfit would be delayed, "So that's the situation, and again I am so sorry for the delay my company will be sure to wave the delivery fees and will give you a 30% discount on your next order" I said then all I could hear is screaming and yelling" WHAT THE HELL! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I NEED THAT SUIT TODAY. I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING AND WAS GOING TO SHOW OFF" He sighed and continued after calming down slightly.

"Well, this is just unacceptable. I demand to speak to your manager," and my first thought was 'great, whatever you say, Kevin' before replying, " sir, I am the CEO. There is no one higher than me; now, if you could kindly calm down and remember what I said before, due to events outside our control, your outfit will be delayed. No one is to blame here."

After a long-winded and tiring conversation, I managed to calm him down and get him to accept our apology, and that's not even half of it, as that just happened in the first couple of hours of work after that was correcting design flaws that had shown up during the making of one of our newer outfits. There was an incident about a mix-up of orders that also needed to be fixed.

I hear your question, "Miku, why did you have to be the one that called" and ill say that I pride myself on being the one to connect with each one of my customers personally; besides, it makes me happy, and I can deal with incidents like that one personally. On one of my more eventful days of work, and after I had got home, I decided to change and curl up for a nap.

After an hour or two, I got up and saw I had missed some calls from my best friend Amy and called her back; I then got an earful from Amy as she began talking. "waaaaaaah Miku, you were right victor cheated on me!!!!" I sighed " I told you so" I smirked a little as I said that, and Amy huffed." I know, I know, but I thought that it would be different this time" I laughed a little at my silly friend's antics, "you say that every time Amy. Did you think those guys you pick up that barely remember your name would stay faithful?"

"Now calm down, breathe and get your ass over here. I have ice cream. Let's pig out and watch a movie while we relax" amy giggles softly and sniffles before saying. "o-ok, I'll be right there. Save some for me" I smiled and hung up. She later arrived, and we had a great time watching scary movies. "Miku, I know you like these movies, but you know I get scared easily" both she and I jumped a bit as the killer jumped out at that moment.

Now that was a fun time, but where were we?? Ah right, my day, hmm, what's that? "get to the point," sorry, know I ramble sometimes. Anyway. After the movie, Amy and I decided to head out for a jog to stretch and continue to hang out. As we were out there jogging across the park, Amy spoke up and told me she had to go and not being one not to finish something; I kept running.

That's when it hit me; whatever it was! The last thing I saw was the area getting brighter than blackness and a feeling of extreme pain and the taste of iron. Well, there you have it. My day today has been utter Chaos!! And now I find myself in this warm, inky darkness with this nagging feeling that I need to leave soon.

After no longer being able to deny my instincts and the encroaching fear and anxiety, I start clawing my way out of where ever I am.

Eventually, I got out, and a light hit my eyes, but it was dimmer than the blinding light I was expecting; as I slowly stood up and stretched, I noticed that my body felt wet and as I went to call out, freaking out slightly over whatever has happened to me all I hear in return is a high pitched screech.
