It would help her with the weakness and heal quickly. It was one of those times when he was hell bound on curing his patient and was giving his all because knowing Eric for years, he knew that he would surely do what he had said if he failed to bring the Siren back to her health. 

He had assumed that the Siren hadn't devoured the heart of any man yet, otherwise, she wouldn't have been affected by all those wounds at all. Usually the mature Sirens who have eaten the hearts of men had much faster wound healing, very slow aging process which also made them seem immortal and increased seduction and manipulation abilities. Despite this, her race origin still gave her quite a lot of advantage because an average girl or boy couldn't survive this much pain, injuries and blood loss at the same time.
