"What are you trying to say, Eric? I don't understand a thing." After almost an hour of talking and questioning with Eric, Victor was still clueless. His friend and cousin was suddenly talking about things which his small human brain was denying to accept.

"How is it possible that you suddenly wanted to drink blood so you just mindlessly devoured two whole cows and a horse? I am not buying. You are just doing this to make me not force you to go back, aren't you?" According to Victor, Eric must have taken the shock to his heart and it affected his ability to think straight. 

Or maybe it was just his scheme to terrify Victor off. All of them knew who drank blood and those creatures were widely feared. Those creatures had red eyes, very long and pointed teeth and other horrifying details about them. Humans could never be like them.
