CHAPTER 42: Ice cold love

The next moment, the car accelerated and they hit the road to Hoseok's house. 

"Can you tell me something about your brothers" Bella peeked on him not trying to distract him from focusing on the road.

"What's there to say about them, we are kind, caring, and honest with each other, we always support each other since we meet. We are each other backbone".

"Meet, meet I don't understand... aren't you all from one womb" she stuttered and Hoseok chuckled at her statement. He struggled to put up his usual smirk but couldn't due to his outburst.

"Well Bella, we are not siblings, but rather friends that turn brothers." he arched his gorgeous brow and Bella blinked at his response.

"Friends turn to brothers, how come; like how long have you known each other to develop such bond, that without you saying it now I won't have known".

"I will tell you once we're home but for now let's get to know their names first accordingly. We have the eldest  Seokjin-hyung a successful businessman, the humblest among us six, he tells dad jokes a lot and is down to earth, also he owns the house we lived in; being the richest and oldest among us he makes our well-being his priority and hate seeing anyone of us in pain".

"Yoongi-hyung, you...he paused and looked at her as if debating on telling him who Yoongi is. "Is the second oldest. He is a pure introvert, protective of himself and his members, he hates seeing anyone around him in pain, a professional tennis ball player and also a popular keyboardist, he barely gets enough time to sleep so he always looks worn out. He might give out this chilly aura at first sight but as time goes on you will get to love his intelligent and enthusiastic nature".

"Namjoon is the smartest of us all, his IQ no one can compare. His knowledge alone will put most of our historians to shame, let's say he is the Aristotle of this generation, his cool nature is a study on its own, a day with him and you end up understanding the universal physics cause inside that calm spirit there is a lover of mother nature, Arts and its basis, and he owns one of the biggest Art Gallery in Seoul. He is the most supportive friend and never backs off until you learn to do it better, but whatever you are doing no matter how sweet his words are, never, I repeat never allow him to the kitchen".  He said, immediately he said that Bella chuckled as if she was expecting such a remark.

"And there is Jimin, an angel in human form, outside his dancing career, there is an angelic voice which can send you to heaven, I bet you haven't heard him sing. His uniqueness makes him too pure for this earth, he can be loud and funny but terrifying when angry. He is our constant source of comfort, always supportive. His happiness is contagious".

"Teahyung a professional Saxophonist I can say wear his heart on his sleeves, he is naturally endowed, and his authentic and genuine nature makes him outstanding, he never has a bad energy, sometimes he might seem naive but doesn't let that fool you because inside that naive nature is a bundle of wisdom, he loves kids and animals. He is the sweetest and most kind-hearted of the guys, he radiates the same ball of energy as Jimin".

"And there is our maknae Jungkook, naturally talented all around, nothing a boy cannot do. His competitiveness is unparalleled. A university student who leads almost the school social club, he sure knows how to carry his studies, he loves playing and gets sad when he got defeated; he is such an empathetic maknae who supports and cheers his hyungs up. Even though he claimed to have the "bad boy persona, he is shy especially when he is around girls, he can be classified as an Introvert or ambivert but when his around Taehyung and Jimin his ball of energy is compared to none, and he is fond of his Seokjin-hyung. That is all for now"

"Wow, that's so much of a brotherly love...so what type of person is Hoseok?". Hoseok chuckled at her statement, trapping his lower lips.

Maybe Bella can figure it out by herself" he uttered without looking at her.

Her face light up and she avert her face to the side window suppressing the grin on her cheeks.

Then a buzz sound was heard and Hoseok plug in his

Bluetooth to amidst it been on speak out.

"Hyung can you buy Soju and any wine, Seokjin-hyung forget to buy one at the grocery store" a voice came through the phone.

"Okay, I'm almost closer to the grocery store" he replied hanging up on the caller and focusing his attention on the road.

"That's Jungkook, I  need to pick up something from the store".

Pulling the car in front of the store and stopping at the parking lot.

"So you gonna choose to stay in the car, or you are coming with me".

She flash him a smile, removed her seatbelt, opening the car.

The two walk hand in hand into the grocery store.

"So what are you buying?

"Soju and some kind of wine, I bet Seokjin-hyung forget to buy one". He said picking up some bottles of Soju and carefully dropping them in the trolley. "What type of wine do you like?"

"Some sparkling jazzy grape wine, non-alcoholic to be precise".she replied softly walking up to him with a puffed face.

"You don't have to emphasis on it, never plan on giving you alcohol even if you want it,".he told her,  picking up yet another bottle and dropping it in the trolley, and moving to the cashier stand to pay with Bella striding step in step with him.

He was soothing out the bills when a hoarse sound like a running wheel was heard that left everyone dumbfounded.

"Here watch out"...Bella screams pulling him with force out of his stand, and the two fall back making the trolley run past them and hitting straight the candies stand in the grocery shop.

Screaming filled the grocery shop as the people watched in shock, security rushing to the duo who fall backward to see if they injured themselves.

"Are you okay..... Sorry... please forgive me..." A woman's voice was heard as she rush pulling her son and advancing towards Bella and Heseok who looked shocked from the whole incident.

"I'm sorry...I couldn't stop him from pushing the trolley... sorry... sorry" the woman stammered with a bow.

" That okay ma'am, glad there was no injury. Please be careful next time okay, don't allow him to engage in something like this.

"Hey kid', he called out to him, bending down and grabbing his small hands "Jal jinesseoyo" ( How are you)

"Jeoneun Jal jinaeyo"(I'm fine thanks). He replied amidst tears.

"Gwaenchana" he softly asked him, stroking his hair gently.

The kid nodded and he touch his cheeks "aigooooo...kyeopta". He uttered, flashing him a smile.

Rising, he bows to the woman; taking Bella by the hand, they proceed to the cashier. Once their items were fully packaged, one of the securities offered to help them carry them to their car but he disagreed, after much pleading from the cashier, he has to give in and allowed him to carry it.

When their package was securely arranged in the car bolt, he bow to the security waving to them with a smile.

" Are you okay?" he asked Bella who had remained silent after the incident. It seems she is recovering from the shock and lost her sense of smile as she held tightly onto his hand all the while. Hoseok felt something was off with her, he turn and held her two shoulders trying to pull her attention back to him. But the latter enveloped him in a hug which came as a surprise to him.

"Don't..... don't.... get injured....please....she stammered with tears clouding her eyes.

Hoseok was speechless, he just don't understand her at this moment, why is she tearing up?

"I don't understand Bella, it was just a trolley accident not that it gonna injure me" he shook his head, although he didn't look angry. Bringing out his small white pocket tower, he dried her tears.

" So the super girl Bella is also scared" he teased her.

" So you are crying because you thought I will be hospitalized after being hit by a mere trolley, since when did your love for me grow this strong? He teased her.

"Just stop with your jokes, is not about loving someone. Is about caring for a friend, if that trolley hit you; then we will visit the hospital and I don't want to sleep over at the hospital". She argued, leaving him behind and running inside the car.

Hoseok's chuckled at her childish behavior but at the same time happy that she felt this way toward him.

Sigh"....he shook his head, opening the car with a smile not leaving his lips.

"Here; have a bottle of water, to calm your spirit down. He said softly handing her a bottle after opening the cork.

Bella's eyes stare at his gentlemanly actions and she looked up at his oh-so-cute lovely face.

He stretched his hands, touching her cheek. "Thanks for your care". He told her and Bella subconsciously swallowed.

His crystallized eyes lured her in again like a tempting ice but she persisted and broke away from the force of his stare.

"You don't have to thank me anyways, don't make it look like I saved you from a volcanic eruption" she rebutted and he let out a throaty chortle, looking at her amusement

"Not bad" he whispered, accelerating

the car and driving off gently to Bella's comfort.
