Lucien Lupine staggered back as soon as his mind was hit by a turbulent of memories. Flashes of memories bombarded him from all directions that it was making his head spin.
The moment he dropped to the floor, he was already in his human form. His eyes shook as his gaze was transfixed on the woman whom she had failed for the second time around. "S-Su-Sue! Sue!"
Lucien scrambled on his knees as he crawled towards the woman whom he had forgotten. Eyes brimming with tears he cradled her body carefully, fully knowing that it was him who did this to her—not the council, not his snake of a brother, but him! It was his claws that had torn her back. And it was his canines that pierced her neck savagely to the point that he could see the broken nerves around her shoulder and neck.
It was in this moment that Lucien understood what it meant to be a monster.
