Koreena leaned in closer to Draven, her voice lowering to a hushed tone over the roar of the storm. "Our target is a former Dark Serpent pirate, Vilan," she said.
Damus, who had been listening intently, was suddenly stunned. "Vilan?" he asked, his voice trembling slightly.
Draven could sense that Vilan was a name well-known among these pirates.
Koreena chuckled, a cruel edge to her humor. "Ah, so ye know him. Vilan suddenly found himself a sense of morality and left our merry little band of pirates," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "But ye see, once someone joins the Dark Serpents, there's only one way out – death."
Damus nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of the situation. "The last I heard, Vilan was working as a crewman on a merchant vessel called the Golden Lady," he mentioned.
Koreena's gaze bore into Draven. "Charlie, here's the deal. Vilan needs to die, and there ain't no other option," she declared firmly.
