Fading away

"Leah?" Kellen said in disbelief, she was not expecting her

"How have you been?" Sadly

"Am not fine leah, am so sorry for hurting you....I.  ."

"Am not here to listen to your apology" harshly

"Leah...please find a place in your heart to forgive me"

She didn't say a word instead she signal the guard who came in and open the dungeon door. They led her to a room, she was surprised by everything. She wonder what leah was thinking

"Here, eat" gave her the food she bought, kellen stare at her in confusion, why is she suddenly giving her food and a royal treat at that matter, she gulped at the sight of the grilled chicken.

What if it is poisoned? Is she here for revenge?

"Am not hungry" stubbornly 

"Are you afraid that I might poisoned you" smirk

She took the chicken and had a bite before drinking the wine on the table

She stare at kellen whose face was filled with guilt, she look away in embarrassment for not trusting her.

"Am not a trash like you kel, I will never bite the hand that fed me" walking away but stop by the door "lf you need anything you can talk to the guard at the door, they will get it for you. Goodbye" slam the door so hard that Kellen jerk in fear

She just lost a great friend and sister

She wept bitterly knowing leah would never consider her as a friend again. Walking towards the table, she devour the chicken hungrily, gulping all the wine. She went on her kneels and cried her heart out

Leah held her chest in pain, she sigh in relief when she felt her husband's arms around her waist holding her to stand steady

"Are you okay?"

"She doesn't trust me, how could she think so lowly of me"

"Wife, stop worrying yourself about her, am worried about our baby getting hurt if you continue going through this emotional crisis" said in concern

"Am sorry my love but I need to send a message across to shane, I will do this last act of kindness to her before sending her away" bitterly

Sending kellen back home is the right thing to do, she wondered if Nick kept his promise to her and will Kellen change to the lovely person she was once she returned home.

Nick was right about her all along, she still can't believe all that has happened, she can no longer confide in kellen.

Not now or ever

Shane wasn't expecting leah to invite him over to Airangon, he honoured the invitation since she said it was urgent and also he wanted to see her face once more. He misses his sister, seeing her face is like looking at his annoying sister yet their personality differs. 

Sometimes he wish this leah was his real sister, he would have become the most happy brother on earth, having such a lovely and decent kid sister.

"I am glad to see you yet again leah" smiling

Her smile made him much more happier and strangely he felt at ease knowing she was doing just fine

"Thanks for honouring my invitation shane, please there is someone I'd like you to meet before I send her off"

He followed her as she led him to a chamber where he met a lady, she was looking very weak and pitiful, her eyes seem lifeless until she look up and saw him. He swear he could see her eyes sparkling with hope, joy and shock.

"Shane!" She whispered in shock, she could feel the  tears flowing, she couldn't look at leah, she was feeling too guilty. She hate herself for everything,  for all the evil deed she committed. 

"I was hoping to take you to see him, so you could feel at ease knowing he still exist but you ruin everything"

Shane felt pity for them both, the look in kellen's eyes was filled with guilt, somehow he was drawn to her, he wanted to console her but he is afraid of pissing leah.

"Let's never meet again. Goodbye kellen" coldly.  She close her eyes, turning back, she can't bear to see her go, she want flora to get everything done quickly.

"No...wait...." his hands only touched her finger as she slowly vanish before them, he looked at leah and Ariana who was holding  her around her shoulder, he wanted to talk to this kellen. He wish he could hold her a little before she vanish, he wanted to see those eyes sparkling with joy and happiness 

"Cheer up leah, you did the right thing"

"She was everything to me and Shane, she was a lovely sister I never had" weeping

"We all make mistake leah" he said 

She smiled at him, violently shook her head as she brush her tears away, he wonder why she was acting this strong when she is totally broken

"She tried to kill me, I was poisoned not once or twice by her, will you still call that a mistake?"

He was not expecting someone as fragile as kellen to be this vicious 

"I ....." he broke off

He was surprised when leah hug him, she was crying in his arms, she miss her brother and right now seeing him stand before her is like seeing her brother

"It's alright, please don't cry, you did the right thing"

"Am sorry, I could protect you shane, I miss you so much"

He know he is not the one she is referring to, he gave her comfort but began to tremble when he saw Tyler glaring at him, his eyes were as red as scarlet, he gently pull away from her and took two steps away from her.

Uh....I think I have overstayed my welcome"

"What you mean?"

"I have to return home"

"B....."

"It's time for lunch" she heard Tyler's cold voice from the doorway

"Oh"

He was surprised seeing the tears in her eyes, did she lock him away in their chamber so she could cry in Shane's arms or did shane hurt her, he grab her around her arms.

"What did he do to you?"

"No, he didn't hurt me"

"Why is my WIFE crying?" Screamed in frustration 

"I did not hurt her your majesty, I swear by the gods" nervously 

"I sent Kellen away, I lock you up so she wouldn't see you" blushing

"What?" Chuckles 

"She will never see your handsome face"

She is jealous, he laugh at her cuteness, wrapping his arms around her waist, he carried her in a bridal style not caring about shane presence

Tyler kept rubbing his wife already ripe, swollen stomach, he love it each time the baby kick, he was giggling at leah who was frowning at him

"Do you love the baby more than me?" Whining 

"Ofcourse I love my wife more"

She smiled at his response, she was about to kiss him when flora appeared, they were surprised because they didn't summon her

"My lord, the time has come, Darius and his armies are coming for war, he has unleash some monster, they are about thousands of them , they are going to destroy this city and it's people"

He clench his hands in anger, he won't let any harm befall his people, he will fight Darius alone. He was silence for some time before he finally spoke.

"Wife you have to leave with flora" held her face

"No, no I won't leave you" shook her head as she cried, her grip tightened around him.

"I will be back, I promise you" gently pull away from her 

He covered his mouth against hers, he bend down and kiss her on her stomach, whispering his undying love to his unborn child

Her eyes were glittering with tears as she looked at him over her shoulder. 

"Stay safe"

He smiled sadly "I will"

He will protect the ones he love and his people, he won't let Darius destroy them . Saddling his horse, riding into the battlefield alone, he will fight them all by himself, Darius will not hurt any of his people not even his soldiers
