When She Wakes

Howls and screams conquered the whole lagoon. Domino was dividing her power between extracting the crest from the dying Shadow King and fighting Nicholai. She would summon her witches to deal with him, but she figured he could just kill them all the same. In the end, she just left the job to the magic circles that drove the wolves crazy.

"You can only pray that your pups are happy when they die, Nicholai Rudolf. Just because you defeated the Rogue King doesn't mean you can kill all the witches in this world!" Domino laughed as she rained meteorites at him by scooping at the ground and setting the earth on fire.

"I know I'm not strong enough at this juncture… but you're clearly picking the wrong opponent to fight." Nicholai avoided all the meteorites, preparing his white claws for a hit. "You have forgotten who my mate is and how our bite marks work."
