The Power Of Friendship

"One of your clients? Who was able to get you that much work?" Kanzaki said in shock when Chelsea revealed her success story to him. Of course, the story itself wasn't over yet but she let him know about a few things.

"I know right! He's amazing for sure. He got all sorts of people from the community to come and try out my artwork. Many of them had just seen my client's avatar wondering where it was from and he even put my name under his model which allowed for even more people to come and give me work." Chelsea explained with a smile since she was excited about what lay ahead for her.

When Chelsea explained her new client it caught Kanzaki's attention in a strange way making him think about something that was completely out of the box. The idea he thought about would be a 1 in a million chance so he decided to just keep it to himself for now.

"That's amazing! Just to be sure, what is your client's name, and if they don't share that what is their stream name." Kanzaki asked trying to probe for even more information than he already had while also checking his wild thoughts.

When Chelsea saw him questioning who she had as a client she didn't really know what to do or say in this situation, "I'm not sure if I'm really allowed to do this or not but since he's going to become famous soon anyway I can tell you, come closer." Chelsea said with a smile as she inched her face in his direction.

Kanzaki moved his face forward as well listening intently as he truly wanted to know who this person was. For a moment he thought it might have been him but he thought in his mind that he wasn't famous enough to be connected to someone like Chelsea.

"His name is Mask. He streams on Witch every day and has been my most successful client to date." Chelsea said with a smile as she whispered to Kanzaki who was suddenly shocked out of his.

Kanzaki looked up at her with shock just staring making her confused beyond belief. She thought he might have just been shocked that she had a successful client but it was not even close to that.

"Wait are you Rainbow Bunny?" Kanzaki asked her as he set his treadmill to a walking pace. He made it to where he was just barely walking but still moving as he asked these questions because he was scared he might fall if he got shocked too much like Selena the other day.

This time it was Chelsea's turn to be shocked when she heard that name, "Wait how do you know about my user name?" Chelsea said in confusion as thoughts began running through her head of ways he could be connected to her.

"Uh- I'm actually Mask." Kanzaki said with a slight smile as Chelsea stopped her treadmill. The look on her face would have been something Kanzaki wanted to capture normally but he was also beyond surprised by the situation.

"Wait... hold on... that- How in the world?!" Chelsea said in shock as she began talking to herself at a quick pace trying to find a rhyme or reason why Kanzaki was Mask. After a few seconds of talking to herself, Chelsea finally came to a conclusion.

"If you're Mask then prove it. He has become pretty popular recently and you could possibly be trying to copy him." Chelsea said showing a hint of hesitation for the first time.

It would be one thing if they got to know each other through different jobs and different circumstances but since she was not only connected to Kanzaki through the community but actually employed by him it made it a lot more complicated, she just wanted to be sure that he was the real person.

Kanzaki understood this and quickly stopped his treadmill stepping off. Once he was off of the machine he stuck his hand in his pocket pulling out his phone.

Kanzaki tried to get on his Witch account so he opened up the app and clicked on his account. Once he was on the account screen he showed it toward Chelsea proving that he was truly Mask.

Chelsea knew just as much as Kanzaki that the screen proved he was actually Mask which destroyed any hesitation she might have had before.

"So you're really him? Well, I guess I'm supposed to say nice to meet you." Chelsea said as she stuck her hand our awkwardly to shake. Kanzaki saw the gesture and couldn't help but laugh which made her make a confused face.

"Why are you laughing?!" Chelsea said in both frustration and confusion as he continued to laugh when he saw her so frazzled. It was funny to see the previously cool calm and collected individual he met in the gym crumble down to something like this when surprised.

"Your reaction was priceless." Kanzaki said finally stopping his laugh as he wiped a tiny tear from one of his eyes.

When Chelsea heard this she suddenly did something that he had never seen a grown person do before, she pouted!

"You're so mean in person, bully." Chelsea said turning her face away from him in defiance basically saying that she wouldn't talk to him any further.

'Is this what they call a tsundere? It's kind of funny.' Kanzaki thought chuckling to himself thinking it would be funny if he bullied her in a number of different ways.

"No! I would never be mean to the artist of my V-Tuber model. You have done a lot for me and I appreciate it so it's nice to meet you as well." Kanzaki said sticking his hand out so she could see it even though she turned her head away from him.

Chelsea went silent for a moment before turning around hesitantly as she stuck out her hand as well, "Nice to meet you too." She said as they finally shook hands cementing their friendship in person.
