{8} Enel I

During my extended stay on Birka, I decided to test out my devil fruit. According to Senka, It gives me some of the abilities of the Japanese lightning god, Raijin.

(A/N: I'm scrapping the idea of his fruit being similar to Luffy's own. I can't think of any paramecia like properties to give him.)

That doesn't help much as I have little to no knowledge of the lighting god. I remember that he can control storms, so basically lightning and wind? And he rode a cloud.

It is like the Goro Goro no Mi, but without logia intangibility. I'll happily trade that for the extra powers.

With that knowledge in hand, I immediately started trying to create a cloud for flight.

Stretching my arm out, I began thinking of a cloud. After straining my arm for about a minute, a white cloud appeared in front of me. I immediately felt a connection to it.

Thinking of riding it, it came up to me.

"Hehehe"

Having thoughts of sleeping while floating in the sky, I tried making it change its size, and it worked. I then decided to take it for a test run.

"LAH HAH HAH HAH!" Manoeuvring the cloud was easy. I could control its direction and speed with my mind.

I rode it through the area where I usually hunt for food and train.

I continued to ride it until a stupid sky lamprey interrupted me and tried to eat me. It opened its mouth to welcome me into its stomach, but I dodged it easily.

Turning back to face it, I decided to kill it. I gathered electricity around my arm and sent it out to the sky. The sky immediately began to darken above the sky lamprey.

"El Thor!" I shouted while swiping my arm downward.

A massive column of electricity descended upon the bastard sky lamprey.

"SHRIIEEEK!" The sky worm gave out a loud shriek.

With the lightning show finally ending, all that remained after my attack was a deep crater and no sky lamprey.

9"I should probably leave now," I say

Though, that was put on hold again as my {Fruit Sensor} picked up something.

[Devil Fruit-Goro Goro no Mi detected. 249 metres away]

I'm taking it.

Receiving directions from the system, I arrived at the location of the fruit. It was lying beside a rock but with leaves on top of it.

Getting off the cloud, I removed the leaves and picked up the fruit. In my hand lays one of the best devil fruits.

I was about to store it in my inventory when a familiar voice interrupted me.

"Kami!" The voice I recognized as Enel spoke to me.

(Enel's Pov)

The lightning attack I witnessed frightened me. It was like a god gave out his divine punishment.

After the sky cleared, using mantra to see because of the distance, what was left was a deep crater and the god that sent the punishment standing on a cloud.

"I should probably leave now." I hear kami say. I wanted to follow him, but he suddenly stopped and changed directions. I decided to follow him.

Chasing him, I arrived to find him picking up a strange fruit. Seeing him stare at the fruit, I decided to give him my greetings.

"Kami!" I greeted him while bowing.

(Samir's Pov)

"Kami!"

"Huh?" I uttered in confusion. I turned and looked backwards, only to be met by the sight of the self-proclaimed god bowing to me.

"Kami, please let me follow you!" Enel shouted while still bowing.

I just scratched my head in confusion. Imagine someone older than you bowing to you and calling you their god. Weird is an understatement.

But his willingness to call me his god just gave me an idea.

"Do not worry, young man. I will allow you to follow me." I cringed while saying this.

He immediately got on his knees and started thanking me. I needed information on why he was like this.

'Senka, where is his god complex mentality?' I asked her

[He developed his god complex mentality after eating the Goro Goro no Mi.] She responded.

'Which year did he eat the fruit and destroy Birka in the canon timeline?'

[1516]

'And what year is it now?' I inquired.

[1514.] She answered back.

'Hmm...Well, time to use this to my advantage.'

"Now, as my follower, you need to be strong. I'm offering you a chance to increase your strength. Do you accept?"

"Of course, Kami!" He accepted without hesitation.

I walked up to him and gave him the fruit.

"Eat it. It will increase your strength." I told him.

Looking at me with reverence, Enel took a bite of the fruit and his face squinched up in disgust, but he managed to swallow it.

A few seconds later, lightning began to crackle around his body.

Looking at his hands in amazement, Enel began bowing to me more.

"Thank you for giving me this chance, Kami!. I shall serve you with this new strength!" He said with more reverence.

'Bruh.'

[Bruh indeed.]

Realizing I had not asked for his name, I decided to question him on it.

"Before I continue, what is your name, follower?"

"The name of this lowly one is Enel," Enel said.

"Well, Enel, I have a way for you to test your newfound powers," I tell him

"And what will that be?" He asked in curiosity

"Attack me," I tell him

"HUH?!"

"I said attack me," I told him again.

"Kami, I can not attack you." He said.

"You dare defy me?!" I asked him in a raised voice.

"NO! I do not dare, Kami!" He said with fear.

"Then do not question me because as I gave you your powers, I can also take them back." I'm technically not lying, thanks to the shop.

"Now attack me," I tell him again.

"Yes, Kami." He said before rushing at me.

'

Heh. Senka, show me his status.' I said to her.

[As you wish, Samir.]
