Who Has Emily?

Trevor and Maddie spent Thanksgiving with Trevor's mum and all through the period that they were together Maddie kept biting her tongue to stop herself from lashing out at Trevor's mom.

The woman still doesn't like Maddie and she made no effort in hiding it.

At every opportunity she got, she insulted Maddie. Sometimes it was subtle and at other times it was outright insults.

Trevor sometimes cautioned his mother and other times he just allowed her rudeness to slide.

Maddie's mom had already gone back and she had asked Maddie to come to spend Thanksgiving with her, but Trevor had pleaded with Maddie to spend Thanksgiving with his mom instead.

Maddie could no longer take his mother's insults when they finished having dinner and she had helped to clear the dishes.
